Despite a visible "no smoking" sign, I could feel that someone evidently didn't adhere to the rules and the room has soaked up the cigarette smell. The room showed some signs of use - slightly scraped doors and ventilators, dotted walls. The bathroom door was hard to open. My biggest issue would be that I could hear everything going on in the corridor and bathroom pipes made strange random noises at night. Also cleaning crew started cleaning just after 9 am, which resulted in an awkward sleepy meeting on the first day.

The room was big, the bed was comfortable and there was a big window with proper shades. The bathroom was also spacious, with a toilet, bidet and a big shower. It was clean. Sockets placed comfortably by the bed. The area was quiet and well-comunicated, however bear in mind that it is a 20 minute walk to the musem or the old town.

It was pretty much right in the middle of Bilbao. I had my own room and bathroom, which I needed because I just needed my own space for a while. They did have a restaurant which was nice if I didn't want to go out.

The terrace was actually quite a small balcony with a view only to an uninspiring side street. It did catch the sun in the morning and it was nice to be able to open the door onto it but it wasn’t really what we imagined it would be when we booked, given that we were paying extra for it. If it had been bigger and more inviting, I would have been tempted to give this 10/10.

We were only making a very brief stay in Bilbao on arrival in Spain and so looked for something very conveniently located, especially for the bus station, where we would be departing from the next day. This hotel was just the ticket. Large comfortable room, huge bed, big bathroom. The breakfast was very good and all the staff very friendly. Everything in the new town is easily accessible from here.

Some fixtures were a bit out of date or slightly old. But everything was really clean so it didn’t matter that much. However the WiFi was not that great. I feel like in 2024 you have to deliver reliable WiFi.

Nothing major. A bit of water going out of the shower (but used the matt) and wasn't easy to find how to control the heating/cooling.

Big twin room in a quiet neighborhood but close to the center with a nice long desk for working and closets for putting the cloths. Also, big bathroom, including a bidet. Long window with some view towards the city and the curtain was good/dark, so that light does not enter in the morning. Appreciated the second door keeping the room quiet from both the bathroom and also from outside noises, as the room was just across the elevator. Didn't have breakfast, but opted for room service (for brunch) and it was delicious/fantastic! The team in the reception was very good and a lady provided excellent instructions to visit the city. The price was ok.

Parking lot was difficult to navigate. We were forced into the one for small cars (ours was large) because another car blocked our entry into the main one. We were unaware of the larger option but changing direction on a curved ramp was impossible. Be advised of parking options in advance.

The mattress was in a strange shape. By my mistake breakfast was not included when I was booking, the hotel could have offered it again later :) Why can't the bus momentarily park in the electric car park when it's empty?

The reception was polite. The room had a good temperature. The taxi stop was nearby. Room was cosy and clean. Minibar was equipped well. The curtains are thick, very good. Electronic check in was great. Thanks for the toothbrush and toothpaste!
