Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicThe air conditioning could not be set to any other temperature than 24 degrees, and it was quite strong, so the room got too cold very quickly.
Older hotel but very nice and well equipped. Friendly staff and good location of the hotel near a lot of public parking and it's not far to the center. The room was spacious and they work very nicely with glass here which is used in many places.

United StatesThe bed was not comfortable at all. Clean but uncomfortable.
We loved the underground secured parking as we had a lot of luggage that we did not want to remove from the car. The hotel is not in downtown but close enough with an Uber. It was pretty quiet and clean. The staff were really helpful and nice. Breakfast was average.

United StatesThis is a beautiful hotel with lovely accommodations. The staff is very helpful and it is quiet and clean. We used the local bus to get to where we could pick up the Hop on Hop off bus tour and an Uber to get back to the bus station to leave. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance.

PortugalIt's too far to walk to the historic centre - but we knew that when booking. We used Uber to get us into town. At €144, it was the most expensive hotel of our 16 day trip - but it seems that hotels in Seville are around that price point
We stayed here for one night, on the return journey from a trip to Morocco. We wanted private on-site parking, which is why we selected this hotel, further out from the historic centre. There is an underground car park which is accessed by a car elevator. The elevator was large enough for our Nissan Qashqai and was easy to enter and operate. The hotel is clean and modern and our room was spacious. Wifi and breakfast were good.

NetherlandsI didn't like it that I stayed there just for two nights! But I'm sure that I will come again.
The location of Hotel Porcel Torneo is great. Locate between Seville train station Le Junta about 20 min walk and the famous Almeda de Hercules centre it's also about 20 min walk. It's in quiet area, but just a seconds from Lidl shop and from another side from coffees and restaurants as well. My room (on the 5th floor) was really exceptional, big, with space for relax, very comfortable bad, great matrass, soft and harder pillows, small fridge, big TV scream, coffee & thee, big closet, and table desk. I had view on the city and in the night illumination swim poll. The bathroom were big and very well settle. All bath cosmetic, few tafels difference sides and supper walking shower. And the cleanness? Up to 10 points. I'm serieus, I always check first the cleanness. Breakfast was really exceptional. From all variety for everyone test and needs. Fresh juice, few coffee machines. I'm vegan and not always have a choice at hotels, but to my great surprise, I had many options for excellent breakfast to my wishes. Very nice & relax space, nice bar and great lobby. The checking was easy and nicely done. The staff are exceptional, professional & very friendly, very helpful wherever you need and speak English. Specially Ms Reyes, thank you for your kindness and all help with all information & ordering taxi and much more, it was such a pleasure! Housekeepers were so kind and helpful too.
