IrelandUpon arrival, the sheets of my bed had yellow stains. That shouldn't happen in a 4 stars hotel. The cleaning ladies were extremely kind, professional and helpful, and they changed the sheets - twice! Because the new ones had even more stains!! I know this is not their fault, and it's a shame - and unproductive - that they have to work in the same room twice. It's the hotel's responsibility to invest in new sheets and in more effective quality control (it also happens with the cleanliness of the glasses and cutleries at the restaurant, e.g: I had to go through at least 4 glasses before finding one in acceptable condition). The sofa in my bedroom also had stains (like most sofas in the lobby, not very inviting to sit on). Although I understand it's not possible to clean them between guests (otherwise the sofa would be wet), it's very unpleasant to find stains like that when entering a room - which was actually very clean otherwise. It would be great if the hotel management could do something about this (removable sofa covers?) because having stains on the bed and the sofa give a terrible impression and it's not very welcoming. To highlight again that the cleaning ladies were very attentive and they even covered with a sheet - in a very effective and neat way - the sofa so I could use it.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel - especially the kindness of the staff (the cleaning staff were always particularly helpful and friendly) and the food at the buffet - which is one of the best ones I've seen in years - and I've stayed in many hotels! The hotel is beautiful (I can imagine how magnificent it might have been when they opened it, although sadly, it seems they're not investing enough resources to maintain it this way. I hope they start doing something to make a significant change because it would be a pity to let such a nice hotel slowly die down). The pool areas are lovely, and the beach is amazing. The evening entertainment is very enjoyable and the activities during the day are very fun. Thank you!

United StatesWe could have used an extra pillow. The pillows were very flat. We didn't like how at breakfast and lunch we were able to have juice, water, anything. But at dinner we were made to purchase a small bottle of water that didn't fill our 3 glasses. Why not make water available? It comes filtered from the wall in the hallway. We were shocked that there were so many young kids. We were not traveling with kids and felt over-run. Maybe on website state....there are a lot of kids at this family friendly resort. When not traveling with kids, having screaming kids all over the place.....too much. Or have dinner kid free from 7:30 - 8:00pm, and definitely have an adult only pool.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cristina at the front desk was amazing! The food was good, great presentation. The room was very nice and housekeeping staff amazing

Last but not least, the direct access to the beach La Barrosa was an added plus. I would also like to mention the wide range of food available at the buffet: It was beyond my expectation.

Gibraltar- on site parking is incredibly expensive - minor issue but glasses were not cleaned properly. Had to pick up 5 or 6 every time before finding one that was relatively clean.

United KingdomThe beach is gorgeous and right in front of the hotel. It’s a shame that you have to pay extra for the sun beds (not many of them) on the beach. And I also found all the sun beds (around the pool too) to be a little uncomfortable. The pool was quite cold. Entertainment a little mediocre.
Very clean hotel. Excellent room cleaning staff who do an impeccable job. Same can be said for the rest of the hotel. The food is also brilliant (and I speak as someone with high food standards). Great size pool and lots to do at the hotel. Excellent sustainability standards throughout the hotel.

GibraltarThere’s no door to the area that of the bathroom and toilet so if you get up at night you disturb your partner. It’s not the best of arrangements. Parking at the hotel cost €20 per day which is expensive considering that the hotel is quite expensive too.
Beautiful hotel by the beach with lots of facilities. We booked in an all inclusive basis and it was a good deal with good food and drinks included. Friendly helpful staff

The location on the beach was beautiful, the room was comfortable modern and clean with a nice private terrace. The food was very nice, we had breakast and dinner included. What made the stay extra special was the amazing service. From checking in with the very helpful receptionist, to the serving staff in the restaurant, and infact any time we saw any of the staff we were always greeted with smiles. We had a wonderful lady called Inma who waited on us for breakfast and dinner. We were told about the delicious food by Pepe one of the great chefs and sampled one of the best mojitos I have ever had made by the brilliant Malero. The entertainment staff were also great and Luis especially made us feel very at home. We will definitely be back! Thank you all for an unforgettable few days!

nice place off the jam packed normal hotels on the beach you had loads of room on the beach breakfast lunch and dinner were excellent with a wide range of food. All the staff always there to help in fact the staff at this hotel always had a smile. there are kids clubs too. Swimming pools were clean and activities during the day too
