We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomBasically they had double booked my room on purpose for a group booking, so when I got there they told me I had to move to a different hotel (not great when you are on a motorbike at 31 degrees). Alternative hotel was pretty awful, lower star rating, very tired and I would not have booked it, but had no choice. Not happy and obviously personally I would avoid in future.

The breakfast, had we bought it, was served in a cafe with locals arguing over something and very intimidating. The bar closed in the evening with no notice whatsoever. Avoid this place at all costs. The rooms were okay and it was cheap, so it served its purpose.

Nothing. After being kept waiting for 40 minutes at reception a rude waiter gave us a key to a double bed room, however, we had booked a twin, being two male motorbike friends from the UK touring northern Spain. Returned to reception and same waiter wouldn't give us a twin room despite twins still available on Booking.com and us offering to pay more. In the end we walked out, found alternative accommodation a mile away. The waiter was rude and unhelpful, I'm sorry but I can't say anything positive about the place because of his attitude. It's a shame because everywhere else we stayed in Spain was great with really lovely hosts. I think the waiter was just having a really bad day as there was a large wedding function going on and he was under pressure, but that was no reason to take it out on us. Incredibly unprofessional, he did a disservice to himself and his place of work. Nevermind, I won't allow one bad experience to spoil an otherwise excellent holiday in this lovely corner of the world. :)
