All very simple, but sufficient. Room facilities: bed, wardrobe and table without chair. Sweet breakfast - cereals, yoghurt, toast, margarine, marmalade, muffins, coffee, tea, apples.

Small room that clearly needs a renovation. Shower rain was not working and the water turned from cold to hot many times. Poor breakfast with no eggs or bacon.

It's close to Plaza España, quiet neighborhood and 5min from the metro stop. The lady who took me to my room is extremely nice.

The room is very small, but at least it had a private bathroom and shower. The breakfast was very basic: coffee, juice, toast, jam and yogurt. But overall, for the price I paid for this accommodation, I didn't expect much - the price-quality matched perfectly.

The hotel is located next to Plaza de España, within walking distance to several metro stations. A nice and quiet place to stay for one or two nights at a reasonable price

Thin walls Confusing buzzer options to get in , could be clearer

I loved the lift and architecture. Was warm and comfortable. Walls were very thin though so had to ask the next door neighbours in next room at hostal to be quiet as they were very loud ,however they did quieten down and their noisyness wasnt the owners fault! Simple courtesy breakfast was a lovely touch

The super tiny bathroom is difficult to use. My mom was unable to take a shower because of its size. The room itself is small, too. No space to unpack your things. Electric kettle in the room (or at least on the floor) would be nice.

The staff are very nice. The simple breakfast is a good way to start (you get several options to choose including scrambled eggs & toast + coffe + juice). The elevator is a plus. Easy access to many transport options. A proper supermarket two blocks away.

Shared bathroom (my fault, I guess, should have read the post better), some automatic system lights couldn't be covered or turned off at night, the window could not be opened without frying smell coming in (regardless of the hour, at least between 15 and midnight and at 7 the day after), stained/not properly cleaned bed covers, mirror, table, building in dire need of a renovation

The room was really really basic. There was no lamp, no tv, no anything. Just the bed. It was fine cos all I did was sleep there but I would have liked at least a lamp to be able to read a bit. It was a shared bathroom but I never had to wait.

The location was perfect, I paid €80 for 2 nights at the start of November and I couldn’t have asked for a better location for that price. 5 mins walk from plaza de España and about 7 to the start of gran via. The staff were all very friendly and the free breakfast was nice

Anyone available inside the residence in case of any help. we were without electricity for two days and no one showed up to give us assistance. The phone number sent with the reservation was unavailable

Even with heater… it May be a little bit cold in the room at night (I was there in late October) I would add a thicker bed linen and blanket just to keep the guests warmer. A bit noisy also you can hear all the guests coming and going

For someone that wants a lot of comfort, this is probably not the best option; it's cheap so there isn't much other than the basic. Of course, to anyone looking for a private and well located place just to sleep while visiting Madrid this is a great option.

I loved my stay here. The prices are incredible for the Madrid standard, in a great location and with breakfast included. It only has the basic - a room with comfortable beds and a bathroom with towels, TP and bodywash - but that was what we were looking for. Just a place to sleep while exploring and visiting Madrid. The breakfast is from 8h to 9h30, and it's very simple (something to drink like latte or coffee and smth to eat like toast or a sandwish); There's at least 2 supermarkets nearby - Carrefour express and Dia - and the nearest metro station is Plaza de España. The rooms are on the 4th floor, but there is an elevator. Breakfast is on the ground floor. The rooms don't have any noise canceling but we didn't have any problem with noise from neighbors or from the street. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and I'd probably stay again if I decide to visit Madrid one more time.
