Everything was good.

I loved the feel of hisotry of the building and the beautiful grounds surrounding it, including a lovely short hike along a creek and farmland. Fantastic bedroom, great service at dinner and a picnic breakfast prepared for us to take along on the last stage of our Camino walk. Would love to come back here again.

nothing... WE LOVED IT! I would recommend this hotel to anyone doing the Camino. I guess the only inconvenience was that it is a bit off the path, a little confusing to locate. That was no problem for finding the route the next day, there was a road just in front of the hotel that took us straight back to the Camino.

What a lovely, peaceful, contemplative stay! My mom and I were hiking the Camino from Sarria and this was our final stop before Santiago... It was wonderful!

We had not ordered breakfast, so had a look at the buffet in the morning. That did not persuade us to pay for breakfast there and we went up the road on the 2 mornings that we were there.

Beautiful historical place, peaceful, quiet. Beautifully kept and comfy bedrooms. Very clean. Very close to the airport but you wouldn't think so when you are there. We had stayed in hotels a bit further along the road in San Lazaro a couple of times, but will return to this place if we need to be near the airport again in future.

Lovely gardens. Very comfortable place to rest and chill out. Close to the airport which was very convenient for us. Good location for people doing the Camino as a last stop before heading into Santiago or flying home.

Very nice feel to the whole property. We were finishing our walk on the Camino and decided for a nice night before we reached Santiago. The property did not disappoint. The beds were comfy nd the showers fantastic. It has an old world sense of luxury and genteel customer service. The women who work there are very nice and even made us a mid-afternoon plate of cheese, olives, bread, and wine even though the kitchen was not actually open.

The hotel is set in beautiful countryside. I enjoyed going for walks around the grounds and the fields beyond. The food was also great - simple but tasty and healthy. The whole place is very calm and quiet. I would have loved to stay longer.

This gorgeous country home is easy to find just off the Camino and is the perfect place to stay before a short walk to Santiago de Compostela. I had a lovely room with an enormous jetted tub—perfect after a long day of walking with everything on my back. The grounds are lovely. My dinner was exceptional. My breakfast was quite good, too. The staff was so very accommodating . I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Since it is 900m away, they are the only option for meals unless if you stop to eat before being picked up.

We loved this place. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. The bathroom had a nice size tub. It has beautiful gardens to enjoy. While it’s not on the Camino trail, 900m away, they do pick you up and return you to the trail. It’s a nice luxury before reaching Santiago de Compostela.

Amazing ambience, super clean facilities and room - absolutely spotless! And finally phenomenal staff - the owner was so kind to pick us up from the airport at 1am after we couldn’t find a taxi. Highly recommend. Great value for money
