Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOur bedroom on the north facing side was over the laundry vent. Thankfully quiet during the night but very active and noisy at other times. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Not enough on offer for the large number of guests and not enough waitresses.
Beautiful location, comfortable beds, and excellent evening meal.

Fantastic views, lovely walks from the parador. A remote area but a very good road. We had a very comfortable room with a sitting room

United KingdomThere are minor issues as would be expected with a building of this construction- I think others have mentioned the creaking floors and the odd bath arrangement (the shower and taps are at one end the plug at the other) One staff member in the restaurant preferred to anticipate what you were going to say rather than take the time to listen but the rest (especially the waitresses) more than made up for him
Set at the head of a beautiful valley with amazing views. The rooms are re clean and comfortable and the staff mostly very nice. This is a great place to stay for walking in the hills but even for those less adventurous the large comfortable lounge and terrace make a great place to chill and drink in the mountain air. The evening meals were excellent if a little pricey

United KingdomThe location is pretty unique, It is not cheap to stay here but the superb and awesome views of Mont Perdido as it hides its face behind a shawl of passing clouds make it worth it. There is a good variety of walks direct from the Parador. When I stayed and it was raining we were allowed to put our motos undercover out front. Excellent service as one would expect at a parador.

LuxembourgThe breakfast was usually a bit of a chaos. Lots of people would queue in the morning to get tables (unsure why, since there would always be some left). There was just one coffee machine that would always break. there would be 'slightly' expired fruits, and in general the selection was always the same. That said I do understand that there could be some difficulty obtaining all the varied produce daily in a mountain region. Another point was the lack of consistency in service, some evenings the bar waiters would be quick on the spot and responsive, while others you would wait forever even to order.
Excellent historic location with fantastic views on the mountain range, the hotel is really atmospheric, and breathes history. The evening restaurant was very good. You feel comfortable, while the location is not easy to service, most of the things you might need are there.

United KingdomWe were trekking and the establishment didn’t seem to understand our needs. The staff were unable to give us the several litres of drinking water we needed and advised against drinking the tap water in the room. Neither supper nor breakfast was available at a time to suit our needs. Checking out early in the morning was a slow process. It was pricey for room only
A beautiful old building with a spacious and well appointed room, beautiful bed linen etc. this was much appreciated after a long day’s hike

United States of AmericaAny room in this hotel is going to have highway noise, some rooms more than others. We paid for an upgrade and the room had a great view but we couldn't sit on our balcony because of all the highway noise. We had to switch rooms so it was a little quieter but then had a view of the pool and playground.
Pretty location, nice looking rooms.
