Had one poor dinner when fillet steak served was as tough as old boots but the previous nights dinner was fine. Bad luck i suppose and they did change it but the second one was as bad as the first.

Great location next to the teleferico to the mountain top. So peaceful and we were lucky with the weather given this was late September/Oct time

Meal in restaurant. I had the veal steak which was a bad piece of meat cooked very rare. I couldn't cut the meat with the cutlery given so asked for a steak knife which was no better. I told the waiter and showed him how bad it was and saw him tell a woman who looked head of the restaurant. No apology given.

On check out the receptionist asked me if we enjoyed our stay and was everything ok. Which I replied excellent with the exception of my issue in the restaurant on our first night. She apologised and kindly credited our invoice for the veal steak meal.

The restaurant is very expensive for the quality offered. There are not that many alternatives.

Location is perfect for exploring the Picos. Really liked the old world charm of the place. Breakfast is very good.

If you are visiting the Picos de Europe you must stay here! Try and book one of the rooms at the back of the hotel which look out towards the mountains and with the cable car running right above you. Rooms are superb, large with wonderful enclosed balconies and great views. Lots of communal spaces to relax and a good restaurant. The location is perfect, just a 5 min walk to the cable car for some great views and walks in the mountains.

This is an older style hotel, well built, incredibly spacious with lovely views and service. The rooms are lovely. Ours had a balcony with a Mountain View. I thoroughly recommend it.

Dinner was poor and although we complained the only response from waiters and reception was OK We do like the paradors but would be reluctant to eat dinner in future at the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights on the bed, breakfast, and dinner package. Our bedroom was very spacious with excellent bathroom and twin sinks. I particularly liked the quiet lounges where I was able to sit comfortably and read a book. The buffet breakfast offered a great choice of food. Dinner was also very good. The location in the heart of the Picos de Europa is wonderful.
