The hostal has a quality feel throughout: entrance, room, bed, bathroom. We liked the spacious walk-in shower. The location is very good, too. On the edge of the medieval town and a short walk to a nice modern neighborhood with good restaurants. They kept our bicycles safely indoors near the reception of the associated hotel.

essentially a furnished apartment for less than the average cost of a hotel room. Lots of space, beautifully furnished, small but functional kitchen. perfect location just outside the walled medieval town.

Lovely, lovely hotel, very welcoming and beautifully decorated. It had a super comfy bed and a great shower. There was secure parking close by and staff were friendly and quick to respond to queries. Super location for exploring the old city. Great cafe/patisserie opposite (Granier)

Parking instructions require a thorough review. The positioning of keypads needs to be explained in detail, especially for exiting by car in order to avoid accidents. Ensure you stop your vehicle well away from the inswinging orbit of the garage door whilst you stumble around in the dark searching for the keypad, if you want to avoid losing your deposit on your hire car, not any advice reception profers when you abandon the project and resort to calling for assistance. No doubt when the roadworks are completed on the lower street entrance all instructions will have to be reconfigured.

The self-contained apartment is set in a recently refurbished block around the corner from the associate Don Carlos Hotel where the reception resides. The room was very high spec and scored a perfect 10. The location is also very central, a short walk to the Plaza Mayor. It can be quite noisy when the window is open what with the amplified acoustics from the passing schoolchildren in the early morning being marched to their school competing with the sounds of the enthusiastic bell ringing from the neighbouring church, a bar on the corner gives the evening a lively vibe, but nothing can be heard from within when the window is closed. Have to say the soundproofing is really quite impressive.

The shower space was a little dark. No mention of recycling or eco friendly policies as seems to be the case in hotels in Spain.

Spacious twin room with mezzanine floor with two extra beds. Spotlessly clean. Quiet narrow street although woken early by cleaning lorry. Very welcoming reception from partner hotel round the corner. In all, very comfortable and good value for money.

Lovely, quiet accommodation with excellent air conditioning. Everything is new and clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. The location is very good, in the old town, close to all the major sights. There are many restaurants and bars close to the pensión.

The room was very central to the Old Town. it had a small balcony overlooking the street but was still so quiet. Really clean. We were delighted with the accommodation and location. Caceres is a magical city to explore

1st floor room overlooked street. People talking as they walked till 3am meant we had to use earplugs to be able to sleep. Parking was in a large garage 5 mins walk away but the directions to get there were terrible. It took us over an hour to drive there at 10pm in the dark. The receptionist drew a complicated route on a poor map. To avoid future guests having such a terrible journey I sent in a screenshot of Google maps route which they could give out. The WiFi stopped working in room after 1st night. They responded quickly but couldn’t find out why it wasn’t working. As we left on 3rd day they realised that an electrical fault had taken out the router serving the room.

The property itself was great but we had a very difficult time getting to it as it’s in a restricted non vehicle zone. Directions provided were not helpful. After circling around a number of times and driving into a one way street, we called the property and asked for help. They basically repeated the instructions they had sent. We ended up driving out of the area, finding an underground parking garage and leaving the car there. It was easy to find the place on foot. By the time we got in we were too frustrated to enjoy it. Wish they would have been more forthcoming about the parking challenges when they had confirmed parking was available or sent us a link for the garage we ended up using as an alternative.
