Room is quite small, really just for sleepover. Water pressure is poor and you have to wait for hot water.

Room is is the centre which is perfect. You just manage to walk Madrid in 15 minutes in different directions.

the downside was the size of the room. It was quite small, which made it feel a bit cramped, especially with luggage. For a short stay, it's manageable, but if you're someone who prefers more space, this might be something to consider.

The location is fantastic—super central, making it easy to explore the city and get to key attractions. It was great to be able to walk to most places or catch nearby public transport without any hassle. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or requests, which added a nice personal touch to the stay. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which is always a priority for me when traveling.

The bathroom was particularly tight for space, but can’t fault it otherwise. The building is attractive inside, but the entrance took some finding and a more prominent sign would be good.

Excellent location for Puerta del Sol and walking distance to all the major places to visit. Although basic in style and with a very small bathroom, the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and perfectly comfortable for a couple of nights. The provision of a mini fridge and a kettle with tea/coffee tray was most welcome.

The room was small. The bathroom was tiny. It was very compact.

The location was excellent. Easy to walk everywhere. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Easy to check-in. Coffee/ tea available in our room. Overall, we would recommend staying here for a quick stay.

Too small shower cabin...and too small lift

Clean room, well organized, nobody enter into the room to clean it unless you ask for it, clean towels, excelent location, easy key for accesing the doors, single bed amazingly confortable, the building has a small lift but at least there is one (usually old buildings have stairs everywhere)...I was not expecting a room in a plce like this considering some of the comments and rating, but Im glad I booked this hotel, it was an emergency (business purposes) but I definitely would book here again, I recommend it. I cannot give a 10 because there are hotels abroad that are really a ten...but I would say if is not for the small shower and the small lift I would give a 9.

The signage to find the place, it’s hidden. You definitely need the exact address to find. Don’t rely on the signage.

The box where the keys are dropped makes a lot of noise. I recommend adding something to reduce the sound.

The hotel is very good, with a perfect location. Many tourist spots and restaurants are just a short walk away, and the train station is less than 10 minutes away. It's ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The hotel is incredibly clean, and it has everything you need. A comfortable bed, fridge, coffee, tea, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. The hotel is located right in the city center, making everything easily accessible. It’s a fantastic place to explore Madrid from. The staff is very kind and polite. I’m extremely impressed and highly recommend it.

It is good place to stay in the center, everything is near by, priced fairly, only 1 thing you can here noise from the other neighbours as isolation is not good. If you don’t mind this place for you.

The only drawback was the noise from outside which went on well past midnight. but if you want to stay in the centre, it is something you cannot avoid

The location is great, just between Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. The staff were very friendly, the room super clean (quite small but for 3 days it was more than ok). There is a small kettle, coffee and tea, and a fridge - which I appreciated very much

Other than the room was very tight all else was good. However for the price we can not ask for much more. Clean no smells and plenty of soap and towels.

WiFi did not work in our room throughout stay and staff was unable to fix.

The location was super convenient with cafes and bars nearby, close to the water, and a bus stop for the tour busses. The room was spacious, security was comforting, staff was friendly, and had an elevator! Great water pressure in the shower and convenient stocked mini bar.

Beautiful hostel seems to be newly renovated. As a Canadian, I would say it is almost like a cute little boutique hotel. Room was small but had everything we needed for our one night stay. Private bathroom, mini fridge, coffee, tv, wifi and nice view from balcony. Check in and check out was super quick and easy. Very central location; walking distance from Sol train station in Plaza Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel and many more tourist attractions.

We found it difficult to find the hostal when we arrived, there could be better signage. I do think the price point could have been a little lower, but overall a great stay.

Perfect central location. Comfortable room, very clean and quiet. The staff was extremely kind. We loved that they stored our bags before check in and after our stay.

Although small and clean, the sounds travel through the thin walls easily and the water pipes make quite a noise. I recommend ear plugs for restful sleep. Also, though the location was great, 360€ for two nights was too much for accommodation of this standard.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, I appreciated the fact that I could leave my luggage at the hotel on the day of departure. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Sol. The room was tiny, but clean and there were enough electricity sockets to plug in my devices. Popping in and out for any errands was easy, the shops and restaurants were close. Also the metro station is a couple of minutes away.
