We found it difficult to find the hostal when we arrived, there could be better signage. I do think the price point could have been a little lower, but overall a great stay.

Perfect central location. Comfortable room, very clean and quiet. The staff was extremely kind. We loved that they stored our bags before check in and after our stay.

Although small and clean, the sounds travel through the thin walls easily and the water pipes make quite a noise. I recommend ear plugs for restful sleep. Also, though the location was great, 360€ for two nights was too much for accommodation of this standard.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, I appreciated the fact that I could leave my luggage at the hotel on the day of departure. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Sol. The room was tiny, but clean and there were enough electricity sockets to plug in my devices. Popping in and out for any errands was easy, the shops and restaurants were close. Also the metro station is a couple of minutes away.

Small room with a tiny elevator (but better than nothing as the rooms are on the third floor)

Great location only ca. 100 m away from Plaza Mayor and walking distance to the palace and many other attractions. Many possibilities to have breakfast in the area. Starbucks at 20 m.

We were not told that we needed to tell them to clean the room

Excellent location right in the heart of Madrid. If you are a larger person the showers are TINY and the room is very small. With the window open it is very noisy at night but that is to be expected due to it being in the heart of the city. The building is lovely but our room was much smaller than expected.

The place is fair enough! The room is small, but very clean. Being a private room with a private bathroom make the difference in a city where hotels are expensive like Madrid. Not as cheap as a sharing room in a hostel, but much better price than a hotel... and the location is really great!!!

I guess in this area it is almost impossible to find a hotel without having the noise coming from the streets. This hotel is based in a secondary street, and the noise is less but still bit. The staff kindly allocated me an interior room far from the street. The walls are thin and can easily hear people talking in the corridor or room. The room was warm and not much air coming from the window. I only stayed one night.

The shower is a bit tight. If you have a larger frame you might have problems accessing it.

Great location next to the Plaza Mayor and the wonderful San Miguel food market. Also a short walk through Sol to the Gran Via. The staff were very friendly and always seemed to be smiling. Easy to get to by Metro or local train travelling to Sol station and short 5 minutes walk from there. Nice comfortable beds with a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Nice bathroom.

Perfect apartment. New, clean, and comfortable. The room was small but complete. There were shutters that close off all possible light in the bedroom, the shower had lots of water pressure, etc. All the small details were well organized. The location is fantastic! We can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

Beautiful hostel seems to be newly renovated. As a Canadian, I would say it is almost like a cute little boutique hotel. Room was small but had everything we needed for our one night stay. Private bathroom, mini fridge, coffee, tv, wifi and nice view from balcony. Check in and check out was super quick and easy. Very central location; walking distance from Sol train station in Plaza Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel and many more tourist attractions.

The room was tiny. I pay over $200 a night for a closet of a room and a bathroom I couldn't even turn around in. It was extremely disappointing to have such a tiny space for the price and I wouldn't recommend it. Elevator fit one person with a backpack.

Location worked well for us. We were only in Madrid 2 nights, and 1 full day, so location worked. Staff at reception gave us good tips on restaurants, which we found and tried.
