Sofa bed in family rooms x 2, not made up and no linen available in room

Helpful and friendly staff, especially in the bar/pool area on 19th floor, all age groups catered for, great location, shopping mall 2 minute walk away, really enjoyed our stay

It is supposed to be pet friendly and they don't offer you anything. Neither a poo bag nothing. For the price we pay and it was more than 1000 Euros I was expecting at least some treats or a bed. Furthermore in the room they don't offer you anything for sustainability reasons. If you need any amenities you have to ask it from the reception but when you arrive tired you just don't bother. In the first day they didn't empty the toilet bin. As I said above we paid more than 1000 Euros for the hotel and we had to pay 100 more for the parking and 80 for the pet. Other hotels in the area offer either discounts either they offered at least something for the pet. We paid 80 Euros extra for the pet for no amenities or something unique.

The hotel is in a great location and the people who work there are great.

While it offers stunning city views, The rooftop pool is crowded, smaller than expected, and not very clean. There can be long wait times for the elevators. The view from the room.

Centrally located, close to public transportation, major attractions, and shopping areas. Well-equipped rooms with modern decor, and comfortable beds. Excellent Breakfast with various options, including local dishes, fresh fruits, and pastries. Welcoming staff who provide good customer service.

1) In spite of my genius level is level three and I am eligible to get breakfast free but they refuse to give me breakfast free 2) no labour to drop your luggage’s from reception to your room , you should take your bags with you to your room 3) I arrived at 3:00 pm with flight from Paris to Barcelona but I found my room is not ready After one hour they gave another room similar to my room

Great place to stay with outstanding breakfast. Everything was awesome and amazing views not only from rooftop but also from the room. Very good location and taxis r frequently available we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. Highly recommend

The hotel struggles to with the access badges you need to enter the floor your room is situated. It requires an update, the hotel staff seemed to be a bit annoyed as well by it. Although it was easily fixed with resetting the badge, needing to do this two / three times a day was a bit annoying. The family room is becoming a bit outdated, compared to the price for the stay. Also the sleeping couch is small for two teenagers and a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom does require an update, but was clean and okay. We didn’t use the breakfast option. There were some nice locations just outside the hotel where you could have nice breakfast, but that’s very personal of course.

The location of the hotel is great. Although it is outside the main centre, the centre of Barcelona can be reached with 20 minutes due to close proximity of the metro station. The rooftop pool and bar are great and gave us some refreshments with the high temperatures during our stay.

The gym was ridiculously small with only one eliptical trainer and one treadmill. The wifi was weak and often disconnected. The staff were rather stiff and formal. There was no blanket for the bed, only a thin sheet. Also, only paper cups to make coffee in. It was difficult to get the right temperature from the shower - the water came out either too hot or cold.

The location was great, near the Metro, Carrefour, the Glories Tower and Avenue Poblenou. The breakfast was top notch with a wide variety of all types of food. The room was generally comfortable with a nicely designed bathroom. Cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel was excellent.

A small thing....the windows need cleaning! 😀 Maybe the pool could be open a little later for 13 years + for an evening swim.

It was our third time back to Barcelona and 2nd time back at the Novatel. Naomie, in reception, was absolutely great, amazing customer service from her and the reception staff and also the staff at the Rooftop Bar and pool.

The room was too small for a family. It was a room for two with a sofa bed which with a 10 and 12 year old was too much.

The reception smells amazing. The breakfast is fabulous with so much choice. The pool and pool area is great with lovely views over the city. Excellent location with shops and restaurants over the road and trams, buses and metro on your door step.

The sofa bed was very small for 2 teenage boys - The lift card system was not safe cards often didn’t work which meant we either couldn’t use lift access door at the bottom or room.

I didn't like being scammed at reception. I was forced to pay an extra room for a booking mistake I didn't do. Most of the reception staff are just great, but I was unfortunate to deal with a cold and unwelcoming person I wouldn't wish to my enemy. Long story short, I got extorted.

It's a convenient place, but it's definitely not a Novotel, so many things are missing. It feels more like an upgraded Ibis hotel

The pool was shut down while I stayed at the hotel. The staff seemed to want to help but could not. I would have liked it if they called a nearby hotel to let us use their pool. This was literally the only downside.

I got a complimentary early check in which changed my entire experience. I was able to rest properly. The breakfast was pretty good and better than other hotels of the same chain I have stayed in in the past. I was sad to see that I was opposite of the elevator and expected to be woken up often but it was not an issue at all. The sound-proofing was really really great! The location is really convenient and taxis are always near if you need them

Key cards kept playing up but an easy fix.

It was in a good location and easy walking distance to the beach, main attractions and restaurants. Amazing breakfast. We had a family from which was good (a tight fit with 2 teenagers but fine).
