A little bit too far out from the centre of town .. right in the middle of mainly a residential area.. which was a bit scruffy Lovely Chinese restaurant around the corner though

Very strange bathroom with the sink set a long way from the soap dispenser and shaving mirror.

On this one occasion only, the breakfast experience was very different. There were celebrations taking place in the Hotel, so our buffet style breakfast was available in a windowless meeting room below the reception level. The available hot food was sparse as was the hot milk for drinks and it all took some time to be replenished, probably because the kitchen was not directly accessible. The breakfast food was not disastrous but did not meet its usual high standard of presentation or location. Had this been a first visit I would question whether to book breakfast again.

Excellent receptionist, Jorges was very welcoming, informative and efficient. He was good at his job and clearly wanted us to be happy with our stay! The room, as always, was smart, comfortable and clean with tea & coffee making facilities. It was quiet and relaxing, with a bathroom that had a powerful shower with good hot water supply…..the toiletries etc are ideal.

Everything was fine.

The staff at NH Campo Cartagena were all absolutely customer focused and delightful. The hotel is easy to find and has ample free street parking around it, and 2 large supermarkets within a few minutes walk. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. As Cartagena is a relatively small town, the hotel ideally located to just go out and wander around the Old Town area. We enjoyed our stay and I have no qualms in recommending it to others.

Every chair was child sized, even in the breakfast room. I don’t get it, there’s even a tiny stool in the bathroom, Spaniards aren’t midgets, why?

Bit noisy at night as near Mercadona and a lorry was unloading the night we were there. However, we have stayed previously without a noise problem. Wouldn’t put us off staying there again as everything else very good.

A pleasant and clean hotel, but out of town and not the best choice for Cartagena. Parking is in a locked compound attached to the building and charged at €10 a day

There was a €10 charge to park in the hotel car park but it was free to leave your car on the street.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of food and plenty of choices, the room was very nice and bed very comfortable.

The bathroom is nice but we found hair and dead bugs in the bath… the location is not ideal if you don’t have a car and the neighbourhood doesn’t look too friendly.

The staff was really welcoming and helpful as we checked in really late. The room is fully equipped and modern, with a comfortable bedding.
