We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI really liked staying at the Montserrat, but it could be a little noisy at times from within the hotel, but also outside on the streets, but I suspect this is the case from most hotels in most seaside resorts during busy times! Nevertheless, I really liked the hotel, and would definitely stay there again sometime. Thank you!
It's in a great location and easy to find from the train station, and within easy access for the airport bus stop. It's also very near to the main attractions - beach, town, bars, restaurants, supermarket, etc. The room was basic but nice, and the breakfast was good too. The hotel staff were really lovely and helpful too. The whole hotel had oil paintings throughout by a family friend of the hotel, which was a really lovely, tasteful touch. I recommend!

TurkeyA full-length mirror that we can use in the rooms or as we leave the hotel is necessary. It would also be nice to have an area to hang swimsuits and towels for rooms without a balcony on the terrace.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I used beach towels and umbrellas every day, and the tortilla at breakfast was amazing. The towels in the room were changed and the room was cleaned every day. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's safe, clean, and they try to make you comfortable. If you're out all day and partying at night, you won't even notice some of the shortcomings. It's a great hotel for LGBT individuals.

United StatesMy only complaint, and it's minor - the 4th floor balcony was not open early in the morning. It would have been nice to sit up there with our morning coffee.
What a wonderful little hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a very spacious bathroom (it looks like they actually converted two rooms into one room with a bathroom) and a little balcony with chairs and a table (and little clotheslines to hang our swimsuits on), and air conditioning, and an espresso maker. The breakfast was varied, and the breakfast room had balcony space too. The hotel was a short walk to the beach and a short walk to downtown/the train station, on a less busy street, so it never got too loud for sleeping. There was even a larger balcony area on the 4th floor to sit out and catch breezes. It also had a fascinating history display with a bunch of cool old motorcycles in the lobby!
