Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFantastic hotel in a perfect location to explore Soller and the surrounding areas, never too far from anything and a lovely room with a fantastic balcony view!

United KingdomOur room (111) had a very tiny wee balcony.. think other rooms looked better! Not too well sound proofed either! One of the two beds ( two singles put together) was on wheels so when getting in and out of bed it would slide down the floor! 😂)
The location was perfect, staff were lovely and helpful..quirky little hotel with character.

United KingdomToilet was in a bit of a cramped position. There could have been better light over the sink and by the mirrors. Bit of a detail, but TV only had 4 channels, and not even some of the basic Spanish ones.
The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, and it generally just had a relaxed and nice vibe.

United KingdomPerfect location in soller, seconds if not minutes from the centre.. amazing staff, Macie especially. Room was very clean, and improvements have clearly been made where reviews from the past have given feedback. For the price, you can’t go wrong! Due to cancellation of my flight I was allowed to stay over my check out time, provided coffee and settled. Thanks to Macy

United KingdomWifi very flaky in rooms (connected without internet most days). Rooms not made up or cleaned/cleared every day. Breakfast a little pointless with the other options locally (a few rolls, meats, cheeses, croissant, yogurts and fruit). Coffee served by receptionist. Sadly nowhere "common" to sit apart from reception, no garden (I should have checked, my bad) which meant either being in the room or sweltering outside or in a bar. We chose festival weekend which was OK apart from then being unable to park anywhere and music until 5:30am on Saturday evening/Sunday morning.
Location ideal. Room clean, aircon very good. Shower superb. Staff all nice and helpful (Toni, Anna).

United KingdomThe hotel is very centrally located only minutes from the main square but inside it is quiet, peaceful and welcoming. It has the atmosphere of family run business rather than one run by a large company. The hotel is attractively decorated with its own character. The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the hotel manager who answered our questions by text very promptly. He also gave us very useful travel advice. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fresh and appetizing. Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, particularly to anyone looking for a hotel very close to the centre of the town.

SingaporeThe parking is a bit of a walk away and not included. We used the underground carpack which was recommended by the hotel which was reasonable priced. Our bathroom was all glass panelled and you could see through the curtain which wasn't ideal.
The location is amazing to the centre. The hotel was wonderful character and our room had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the breakfast especially the fresh bread and pastries. The staff were very friendly and helpful and congratulated us on our recent wedding.

AustraliaRoom was very small, but like we said the building is right in the middle of Soller, so is ideal for just walking outside around the lovely town.
Staff helpfulness was exceptional, the picture of the room we saw on booking.com was not the same as we thought, it was very small, but because of the age of the wonderful building, It did not really matter as we only slept in it. Staff helped with ordering taxie, in the middle of the night to airport. Towels for beach. Lovely little touches like straw hats left for us in rooms, coffee pods replaced everyday for machine that is in the room. lovely little balcony overlooking the street. As soon as you walk out the front door you are in the street. Really lovely place to stay.

United KingdomIt maybe our generation but I prefer a solid door to partition the toilet from the entrance door. Because of our age and my wife's hip problems the beautiful stairs were a challenge but this would not be a problem for hikers who frequent the hotel. I could not recommend this hotel to those using a hire car because of narrow streets and a one way system. That said taxis are reasonable and public transport links are good so I don't see the need. Like a lot of hotels you could see that money had been spent on installing lights but perhaps those installing them never check whether they create shadows where people need to shave or put on make-up?
The location was ideal for the main square and it was a short walk to the train station and trams. The room was quirky and the partioned bedroom was entered via a glass door. At the entrance there adequate storage with a proper wardrobe. The bed was comfortable although a desk would have been more practical than a table. The full height two stage shower was powerful even though the room was only tiled half height? Although there was a window it would have benefitted from an extractor. I must endorse the comments regarding the amenable host Tony who strived to make everything pleasant for his guests.

United KingdomI am not sure the breakfast is worth it given that the hotel is next to a gorgeous bakery.
The hotel was centrally placed yet peaceful. It is an old building that has been creatively decorated. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were lovely, mine was on the 3rd floor and good for my step count! It was the perfect place to stay.

United StatesI was disappointed with the breakfast, which I did not know what continental (or I wouldn’t have paid extra). They offered bread, croissants, cereal, fruit, cured meats and cheese and yogurt but no eggs or warm offerings of any kind, which is my preferred breakfast. This is no fault of the hotel but I happened to check in right as a very important festival called Fido was beginning and coincidentally for the duration of my stay. Although it was nice to see it, I had a rental car and it was nearly impossible to find parking and the hotel does not offer any parking. You may want to check your dates or just be prepared for that especially if you are visiting in peak times. It can be quite stressful to drive around there.
The location is absolutely perfect for Soller. You’re pretty much right in the center. The hotel is quirky, cute and clean. In my opinion, a night or two is more than enough in Soller as there is not much to see other than the main plaza and cathedral, which are super cute!

United StatesWe appreciated everything. The only minor thing was the bathroom door not shutting completely.
Toni was very professional & yet personal. He provided us with much information on this charming town of Soller. The place of stay was very charming, was at one time a residential home, every room will be different. We were thrilled to have a room with 3 balconies & on one of the main shopping roads, great for people watching & reading. We slept & eat well. Great shower, great breakfast. We were too full to eat at the very crowded bakery 2 doors down. The restoration made to this place made it a great experience & appreciation for living in the “Old World” but with modern, hip amenities.
