It was a small hotel in an ideal location, a short walk to the cathedral but in a quiet street. Virginia and Loi were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly stay there again.

Bed is a bit small, but a bigger one just wouldn’t fit. Small price to pay to stay in an original lovely old Spanish house.

Very personal service from the owner Virginia. Warm welcome. brilliant advice on restaurants and Flamenco. Parking at 15 Euros/day. Our own terrace / and lounge. Very close to historic cathedral and Alcazar.

A beautifully renovated old building, comfortable room and very clean. The rooftop terrace with cathedral view is very special. It’s a quiet and peaceful place but only a short walk from the centre. The owner Virginia also arranged free parking nearby which made things very easy for us.

The only downside was being in a room without external windows, but that's an issue with the building and was a minor negative in a host of positives.

So pleased with our choice after our original hotel accommodation was not available when we had to change dates. Lovely building beautifully appointed and cared for by Virginia and her staff who could not do enough for us. Excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace with stunning views across to the cathedral. The location was all we could have asked for. Virginia was super-helpful, welcoming and informative. We were guests, not clients.

Our stay here was made really special by Virginia. We only had 24 hours in Jerez but she ensured we experienced as much possible in that time. She could not have been more helpful during our stay.

We only were here for one night, but we very much enjoyed our stay. Virginia is a great host and provided us with lots of useful recommendations for the city of Jerez. We liked the rooftop terrace for an evening drink and and the good breakfast. The room was nice and everything needed was available. Location is excellent - walking distance to the main spots in Jerez.

Wonderful little inn. Close enough from the action but far enough for tranquility. The host, Virginia is a gem. Very helpful, knows everybody and every good spots. Great terrasse on top. Very welcoming. 3 days of pure delights at La Gitanilla. Highly recommended !

Parking can be a problem, but that's typical in cities. We were lucky to arrive on a Saturday afternoon and could use blue parking spaces (easy to find) until Monday morning. During the week Virginia can arrange parking in a garage for a fee.

Great location in the center of Jerez. Virginia was very helpful recommending a local Flamenco bar (15 Euro per person for a tapas menu and a drink). We also visited Cadiz based on her recommendation, was a nice half day trip.

Nothing, it was really nice

Property has a lot of character and is comfortable and well located, very close to the cathedral and the atmospheric old town. Virginia our host was wonderful, and couldn’t do enough for us. We really felt at home. Lovely roof terrace to escape the bustle, and an honesty bar to aid relaxation!

Beautiful traditional building decorated and furnished to high spec. With stunning atrium and rooftop terrace. Very relaxed ambiance. Host was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
