Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

LatviaFeels like home - you have everything you need. Really everything: in bathroom, in the kitchen - everything you can think of - you will have it there. Definitely place made with love and a lot of care for guest’s comfort. View - amazing, sunset, morning sun, not noisy. The roof top pool is small and with no clima, but still it’s perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Definitely will book again

We love everything - from great welcome Host and her Mum Elena, parking in garage, pool on the roof, everything what you need for cooking, boiling and coffee maker, balcony with ocean view, quiet and calm property. We definitely recommend this apartment and rate 10 plus!

The apartment was very clean. Kitchen well stocked with lots of extras. spices,oils,tea,coffee Water,wine etc Owner was very nice. Apartment nicely decorated.

Really lovely apartment in a quiet town with all amenities you could think of, wine, shampoo, coffee, sunscreen, you name it. Staff was very friendly and the location close to the sea, restaurants, a gym, car rental etc.

United KingdomThe walls were paper thin and I had to wear headphones with music playing to try and get some sleep (neighbours up until early hours each night talking, I could hear their whole conversation).
The apartment itself is wonderful! amazing sunset views from the balcony. Lovely pool on the roof.

Portugalthe beach nearby is not great, difficult access to the water. There is not enough bus service from Pal-Mar to Guaza. Guaza will have enough bus services to all convenient locations
An amazing modern apartment, with private swimming pool. The host was really helpful and welcoming. The location is great, there is a pharmacy, 3 small supermarkets and enough places to eat/ drink.

Czech RepublicNoise. There are clearly things beyond the hosts' control, like the virtually paper thin walls of the building or drunk people being loud at 3am on the street below or at the establishments at the Centro commercial across the street, maybe it was busier and louder due to Semana Santa, but you just be aware of it and it's no criticism on behalf of the apartment or the hosts. That's simply the state of things, beyond their control. However, the fridge is really loud as well and combined with the really uncomfortable pull-out sofa in the living room (emergency sleeping only, really) and none of the various ear plugs we brought with us could filter out all the many noises, so we didn't get a chance to have a good night's sleep over the course of 5 nights. But again, majority of this is factors the hosts can't control, so we did not raise any issues with them during our stay and I should've done more research to realize before booking that the apartment is a stones throw away from a rather busy commercial center with lots of eateries. We did not have hot water from 2nd day onwards but it might've been something we've done and the 30°C temps the calima brought from Sahara did not make missing the hot water an issue.
The communication was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The highlight of this apartment for me personally was the rooftop pool and terrace. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch, too. The TV and the smart box have an insane amount of channels (and Netflix etc.) and the Wi-Fi is super fast, if that matters to you.
