The room card did not work several times and I had to go to the reception with crying baby (at rush hour it can take 15 minutes due to lifts) and staff did not even apologise for this situation. There is no porridge for breakfast, we had to bring our own for the baby

One of the receptionists (a Spanish lady) was very rude with me. I had a problem using my new debit card so I told her I needed to check with the issuer what was happening and she said that she would not try to take the payment with that card again (not sure why). I then asked to speak with someone else and the gentleman was very helpful. I paid with the same card with no issues.

Very good breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable, great location, close to the beach, restaurants and local shops.

Front desk staff were superb and accommodating... Pool deck and pool bar areas were great to wind down in after a day out. Hotel location is excellent for walks to various barrios in town, beaches, esplanade...

The hotel room was really lovely however, the net curtains needs to be washed in room as they were dirty in 402 room but the shower needs a update getting into bath etc is hard with knees sore

Gorgeous location with a view of the mountains/hills and located next to great beaches and other popular destinations in Alicante. Overall a cosy hotel with good quality food being served. Breakfast buffet was also great, with a variety of options. Pool was nice and offered a great view of the hillside.

Room wall was like a paper, you can hear every thing from other rooms and from aisle. Breakfast room was like school cafeteria, very noisy.

The door unlock system didn't work sometimes; the hotel seemed to be the victim of a scam as I received emails from their side urging me to fill the credit card details on a third party phishing site to keep my booking. Be careful and do not click on those links!

the hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was large with sea view balcony, fridge, safe, hairdryer etc. location was good for the beach, which was what we needed but about a mile to the city center.

The food in the restaurant and at the pool bar. The only bar in the place was outside by the pool plastic cups and very uncomfortable seating staff at the pool bar were not very nice one guy in Particular very rude and quite ignorant. Ignoring people waiting to be served just standing with back to them chatting a co worker for so long one day that one man left and came back with his own drink purchased at supermarket I can only presume. Beautiful big lounge area inside that would have excellent if a functional bar was open with proper glasses ,No proper bar in the hotel and the tiny one that was just a row of high stools along a wall was never open. The bathroom was clean but decor was shabby and needed attention in places especially around the door..

The location couldn't have been better. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Old hotel needing upgrades to rooms which are basic no kettle, coffeee, tea, glasses.The bathroom especially requires modernising, shower basic and old.. Lifts do not stop at 4th floor. Was probably a good hotel many years ago but now way overpriced , i would rate as a three star at a push.

Good location in Spanish community, short metro stop from main square. Comfortable bed and room cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Good buffet breakfast plenty of choice. Staff friendly .

Staff were polite and helpful, room was clean and had a nice view of the sea, 20 minute walk from Alicante centre and 5 minute walk from shopping mall.
