Its not a hype 5 star hotel so don’t expect that we stayed in the George Michael room and was a nice comfy room.

Our room was exceptional, very high standard products etc and very well thought out. The whole place was friendly and the drinks, meals and service were exceptional. We chose to come out of season but enjoyed the Melon Bomb Closing Party, it was surreal!!

Probably the 4 best days of my life. A wonderful and utterly unique place. The service was impeccable - staff were extremely friendly and fun, like being with your friends, but also professional and helpful. The facilities and gardens were fantastic. The vibe and laid-back atmosphere was just perfect. I could not recommend it highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

I loved everything about it as it was exactly what I expected. If you are looking for a pristine and luxurious Instagram perfect location, I bet you will find faults.

Such a special place! The vibe is cool while not being pretentious or uptight, which is so refreshing and heartwarming. The staff is exceptional, from the reception to the bar and the restaurant staff, which I really rate (had dinner there both nights I stayed and I loved it!) Of course as an hotel guest you are automatically on the guest list for Freddie, which is hands down the place to be in Ibiza if you want a more personal experience out of clubbing and you’re happy to have a chat with interesting and friendly people between one sweaty dancing session and the other. Breakfast is good, you can have a tasty lunch by the pool and I really liked that I was still able to chill by the pool after checking out. Also amazing idea to provide every room with a refillable glass bottle and provide unlimited water (you will need it after the night’s debauchery!) By the second morning the staff was calling me by my name and I really felt a bit homesick when it was time to say goodbye! I’ll definitely be back soon!

loved my 3days, 4 nights there, the rooms were first class, cleaned and air con was perfect The breakfast was one of the best I ever had, the food was great at all times the staff were so friendly and helpful

Party palace did not disappoint and we had a ball. Included a flamenco performance with a trip-hop twist. Excellent cocktails but felt the wait staff had a bit too much haughty in attitude at times. Loved the details of design and artworks across the resort. Rooms could do with a few practical improvements & a bit of a touch up and if you’re staying above Freddys you’ll be dancing in your sleep😆💃🏻🥂 Loved it!

Only minor things really. It’s nice to be away in a quiet area, but it is too far to walk to the nearest town. Not on a bus route either. Approximately £10 each way for a taxi, each time you want to leave. so it does get expensive. The staff are fantastic and will organise a taxi if you ask at reception. My husband has been a Hotel Manager at various venues for 13 years, so we probably notice things at hotels that others don’t. Whilst this lovely place has ‘character’, minor, basic maintenance is lacking in places. We had a suite. Whilst it was clean, there was rust around the bath grouting and plug hole. This would be easily rectified with some cheap grout or enamel paint. The cost is mere pennies, considering the high rates that they charge. The need for renovation had been pointed out to them over 6 months ago by another reviewer. Whilst the venue replied positively, it appears that during low season, they have not done minimal repairs. In the bedroom, whilst the bed was comfortable and large, it was two mattresses pushed together. Which meant you could roll into the dip in the middle. One of the bedside cabinets had a latch missing. Again, a basic, cheap, repair. So the cabinet door was unable to be closed. The door would swing permanently open, and you would knock it whilst getting in/out of bed. We had hoped to go to Freddies nightclub whilst there. There was an event advertised on their website. Staff told us it would be open at 10 pm, so we got dressed to the nines. Went down at 10pm, 11 pm and 12 am, only to eventually be told it wasn’t opening at all that night. Quite disappointing, as we never got to see inside there. Be careful to choose which nights you stay. We had a lovely chilled trip up until the last evening - I love to party (I’m a DJ) but only to party by choice.

Pikes hotel is an iconic, quirky, unique venue. The poolside area was the location for Wham’s ‘Club Tropicana’ video. The staff are fabulous - friendly and attentive. The food is exquisite. The venue offers oat milk and vegan menu options. The crispy tofu with noodle salad is the best I’ve ever had !. Tony Pike’s book about the hotel is worth a read before you visit. The public areas are kept clean - poolside area hosed down daily and the lounge bed covers changed twice a day. The poolside DJs play some great, chilled, relaxing tracks to provide a great atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived the staff were exemplary; the vibe was so, so relaxing; the food, drinks and music were fabulous. All other guests and visitors were friendly and embraced the relaxing and fun atmosphere. We had 4 days in paradise.
