We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our only issue is that there is a renovation going on next door and was a pity to be woken every morning to banging . That being said once the next door is renovated it is a perfect stay in the heart of old town Valencia .

CroatiaThe thing my partner and I didn't like was the hotel's wifi; it didn't work well and it was really slow. Another negative point goes to our room's balcony since it barely fits one person.
First off, the location was great. The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes from the town center and 2 minutes from the bus station (all by foot!). The room was great. It was really big considering the fact that it was only for my partner and me. It was modern and very welcoming. Our room even had a desk with a couch and a big bathroom. The air conditioning worked incredibly well; it took about 2 minutes to cool down our room. Another bonus point goes to the cleaning lady/ladies who were super nice and did their job perfectly. To sum up, the room that was shown on booking.com is not the same at all; it surprised us how modern and stylish it was. Another exceptional thing is that the last floor consists of an iron, a washing machine, a terrace, and a kitchen open to everyone staying in the hotel.

Excellent location, walking distance to all city sights. Only 10 min bus ride or half hour walk to Science Park. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast café next door. Had a communal kitchen on top floor with a sun terrace. Also had washing machine which was handy.

FinlandI didn’t like that from the 5th floor, you could hear people in the shared kitchen and terrace area. Also the window from the room was next to the shared terrace, so there wasn’t that much privacy, unless the curtains were closed.
I enjoyed the cleanness of the room. The customer service was good. The hotel room looked really different from the photos, but it was even better than the photos listed.

Great location in the Old Town area, walking distance to a lot of landmarks, easy access to public transport, close to many reastaurants. Located in quiet street in old building but with very modern rooms and decorations. Large room and bathroom. Hotel has shared kitchen, washing room with dryer as well and deck area which is handy for making food, washing clothes. Very friendly staff. I was able to check-in early and receptionist gave me travel tips and recommendations.

Wonderful stay here - great location. Lovely clean room, smelt amazing when we arrived. Kitchen access was useful. Really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Rented bike and enjoyed cycle to the beach. Valencia is such a beautiful city and this was perfect base to explore from. Highly recommend Hulot B&B.
