Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe private bathroom was very small. It was enough for us, but if you’re larger, it could be a tight squeeze. The room itself was also small, but that didn’t bother us as we weren’t in the room often.
Good location; about a 10 minute walk to the port, 15-20 minute walk to old town and beach. Everything was very clean. The person who greeted us also gave us great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, etc.

The property is in the City so it is near the shops and cafe. It’s a short walking distance from the beach as well. Guillermo who is the host is very accommodating and helpful as well. The property is very safe and the room is secured.

The room was clean and had a great view and location, but what stood out was the receptionist’s warm welcome and helpful tips. He made sure I had everything I needed, from sunscreen to shampoo, and told me about dozens of local spots and foods to try. I was completely set for a wonderful two days of exploration, but could (should) have stayed much longer!! Gracias!

Foremost, the position of the Guest House. It is just in the right place if you need to take the ferry, the bus, to walk around the Castle and old city, to take a break or to go clubbing. Secondly, the cleanness of the rooms and brightness of the spot. Everything was candid and screamed freshness. Third, something that is often not considered, but it makes the difference, is the host. Guillermo was nice and attentive, ready to provide tips and tricks as well as historical notions of his city. Thank you.

The location is great, just about 10 minutes walk from the old town of Ibiza and around 15 minutes walk from the beach. The room was small but comfortable and shared bathroom was always clean.
