For some reason we were given a room with adjoining room. The door was locked but we could hear the people talking in the next room. .we knew hotel was on a hill but it is very very steep. We could park everywhere easily in November but in summer everywhere gets very busy for parking and the walk could be very dificult for some people.

Had double room with excellent views of the sea. The bed was huge, very high but very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Good to have mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities but no cups or milk!!

Not all facilities open such as the bar. Shower pressure exceptionally poor. Location on a hill a bit tiresome at the end of the day.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Overall I would use again if there was no availability nearer the paseo.

The hotel is fairly far away from the beach (750m in a straight line. Some staff member were reluctant to speak english.

Cold carboadra at lunchtime. Also limited menu and description . Mr Birch didn't like walking up the hill.

All the staff we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a sea view with superb views over the port. Everything about the hotel from the decor, gardens and pool said luxury.

Because of its elevated position the walk too and from the hotel are not for the unfit or any one with mobility issues. Also the food menu is limited

The staff were helpful, the pool and out door areas are very good, refurbishment of rooms is great and very clean.

Food offer is very limited, both food and drink prices very expensive when within 5 or 10 mins walk of the hotel there are plenty of very good restaurants and bars. The room billed as deluxe but very small. Asked for an early check by an hour to be told to pay a supplement. Overall a fairly soulless place.

it felt that the bar staff had been reduced in number since our last visit (pre Covid). the lunch menu for poolside had been eradicated which was a shame as we often used to have snacks.

the upgrades to the rooms in terms of decoration and furniture were a welcome surprise. outside areas very well maintained

room was cleaned at 4 pm , we had been out for the day and returned tired just as the room lady arrived. I asked for a twin room, was given a double, so had to move to another part of the building.

Situated on a hill, the hotel does have views of the sea to the front and mountains to the rear, but you overlook rather mundane suburban streets in between.

Love the hotel but you do have to climb a hill to reach it from the port which is hard work on a hot day but it’s worth it for those views!

the rooms are lovely, great a/c and comfortable beds. the bar and pool area is so special, just the most tranquil vibe, loads of sun beds available, pool is a great temperature this time of year. We also ate at the restaurant one evening and it was great food and service and a lovely cocktail to finish.
