The black mold on the bathroom ceiling and the swimming pool is more like a paddling pool.

The location was excellent. It was a short walk to the gothic center and Eixample. The metro station was just around the corner. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was made every day with exceptional detail. The breakfast was also very good.

Not a huge selection of snacks (especially veggie options!) at the pool bar / room service. Room was too small for 2 adults and a baby in a cot really.

Beautiful hotel in a great location- the room & bathroom were spacious and so quiet. Fantastic shower too! The breakfast spread was delicious with lots of options and the staff all so kind! We would definitely return!

TV doesn't have option to stream / share the screen from cell phone or tablet. We expected a little bigger room. Breakfast was acceptable especially for kid.

The doors are quite noise when they shut. If someone was leaving early or coming in late, you could hear the door shutting.

Walking distance to any attraction points, within 2 min from la rambla. Clean room and nice staff.

Apart from the bathroom door all was perfect

The location was perfect and the hotel was very welcoming. Our room was delightful, very spacious with a lovely bath, my only comments would be more tea bags and just to let any future guests know (call me old fashioned) but the bathroom door offers no privacy at all!

Service, especially by Chris, was excellent, she is really efficient and helpful. Terrace is a joy, bar staff friendly. Rooms large for Barcelona, bed super comfy. Ask to be further away from the corner to main street (it's really loud if you prefer to avoid stuffy room by opening the window instead of aircon). Cute balcony. Fresh water, Nespresso machine, tea all appreciated. Area around university, 5min walk from hotel, especially the long gorgeous street adjacent to the university Philosophy faculty, is a must. La Ramblas, Cathedral less than 15min walk away. Location is perfect.

Our flight was delayed by one day. We asked to see if we could have a discount for that night, and booking.com told us to talk to the hotel, and the hotel told us to talk to booking.com - and we never got a discount.

-It was the first time that happened to us that they didn't let us go into the room until we pay the whole amount for our stay. And since we had a problem with the card, they made us wait for 30 min in the lobby with a 5 year old child, until the problem was solved. I don't think is a respectable way for a 4 star hotel to check in their guests! -The pool is a joke. It's actually a big bath tube. So if this is a criteria for you, don't book this hotel! -The size of the rooms and the facillities are more for a 3 star hotel

Some Body wash for in the shower would be handy… and only 4 teabags for 2 people for 4 nights- why so few? And the bar person on the terrace treated us poorly for turning up with complimentary vouchers. We would’ve ordered another drink and something to eat if we were shown a menu or asked if we wanted something. The table we sat at wasn’t even cleared from earlier patrons. Squeaky bathroom door- mentioned to staff but not fixed.

Central location, nicely decorated. The concierge gave us great advice on where to go have lunch.

Great location, rooms were big and it was the best value for money in the area. Still a bit expensive in my opinion.
