Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was extreamelly helpful and attentive, the hotel location is very convenient and is close to what a traveller needs, restaurants, cafes, shopping centre, public transport, etc. Acces to the airport shuttle service is outside the hotel, you are even a few blocks away from the Barcelona Hop in/Hop off bus services if you decide to access this service. The Colombian restaurant across the road was excellent.

Walking distance to the airport bus station, inner-city bus, and metro stations that go anywhere in the city. We traveled with our little dog, she was treated with love and a welcome gift. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the room was clean.

New ZealandOur shower kept blocking and even though a maintenance man unblocked it that day, it still blocked up the following day. Although once the shower tray was full of water after running the shower for 3 or so minutes it unblocked itself, so not sure what was happening there.
Loved the friendliness of the staff on the front counter and in the restaurant. Especially loved the choice of soft or firm pillows. Loved the modernness of the hotel.

The hotel has just been renovated, everything is perfect, clean, stylish, and beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is excellent. The rooms have double-glazed windows (!!!), so the noise level is zero.

Great room facilities. The room and hotel feels like a little bit of luxury. A great location just off Placa España. The location is very safe day and night , and an easy stroll to the metro, aerobús, and shopping centre , and of course the Grand Placa España and the museum of national art of Catalunya. I can’t speak highly enough about this place …… I had an absolute wonderful stay. The photos are placa Espana where the hotel is located.
