Bar food and breakfast are quite expensive. One particular reception member had little or no personality. He didn't really make us feel welcome at check-in and when leaving didn't ask if we had a nice holiday. Not even a thank you for our custom😒

While the room was attended to each day, the floor wasn't always swept and no new towel for the kitchen area was provided during our 9-day stay - very minor issue but as guests who were self-catering and using the kitchen each day, it would have helped! There is constuction work (moving rubble) on one side of the building so it was a noisy on one or two mornings - again, a minor thing. While the pool area was well serviced, some background music / atmosphere would have been welcomed, even just at the restaurant / bar area.

Hotel was very clean and the one-bed apartment had lots of space. Air-con in both the bedroom and living room which could be controlled separately. There was a full size fridge and all the utensils you would need in the kitchen, table with four chairs and a sofa bed. Lovely balcony with table, two chairs and clothes rack. Beautiful view of the pool and promenade (Room 219). The room was attended to each day and fresh towels etc when requested. Staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat / drink at the pool restaurant but there seemed to be a nice atmosphere there. Parking was available outside the front door on a quiet street so very safe. There are more than enough sunbeds for guests and the pool is very clean. Lifeguard on duty each day until 6pm. The hotel is walking distance to all areas of the marina with plenty of choice for restaurants and the weekly market. It is about a 20 minute stroll to the old town along the purpose built promenade so accessible for all. We would highly recommend this hotel!

One or two rooms don’t have the great views others do. We asked to move and, luckily, we were able to. It wouldn’t have spoiled our holiday if we couldn’t though.

Quiet, relaxed hotel with great staff. Lots of sunbeds and close to shops, restaurants and the marina. Stayed many times when it was the Rubimar and have booked again. Love Dennis the cat too 😊

Unfortunately they forgot to put a cot in our room. Which was a nightmare as we arrived late at 11pm and the manager on duty (who was great by the way) managed to get the cot to us by midnight with one very tired/upset baby. I did mention to him that there was ants all over the bench & the kettle didnt boil to allow us to make the babies bottles up. He made a note of this but unfortunately nothing was done as we continued to have to tackle the ants (which wasnt ideal when trying to keep sterlised bottles clean!) & had to pan boil water everytime.

2nd time staying here, first time as a family. The pool area was great for our 9 month old as the artificial grass gave him an area to play & the pool was warm enough for him to go in too! Location is perfect for access to the marina and a nice 10/15 minute walk along the sea front promenade to playa blanca.

Just a little more detail to cleaning. Quite a few hairs in the shower and corners just need a little attention. Found some rubbish under the sofa but in general very clean.

Perhaps because it was so early in the season, the pool was exceptionally cold. It did appear slightly warmer by the end of our week. A separate pool for children would be an advantage. The snack bar closed at 5pm and there was no where to have a quiet drink on the premises after that time. There was no restaurant on the complex after 5 pm.

We arrived earlier than the official check in time and were pleased that at least one apartment was ready and the other two followed fairly quickly. The complex is very well kept. The pool was cleaned nightly and the general appearance always clean and tidy. The rooms were cleaned 5 days a week. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and, perhaps because it was early in the season, all was quiet at night. There are plenty of restaurants close by at the Marina, enough to suit all budgets. It is a fairly lengthy walk into the town centre but there is a very attractive promenade to aid the hike. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it is a complex we would have no hesitation in returning to or recommending to friends.

Great location next to the Rubicón Marina which had nice restaurants and bars. Nice well stocked apartment. Big shower. Lovely pool which was very clean. Plenty of sun-beds around the pool. Quiet at nighttime. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were very lucky as we had a great view of the pool which was appreciated greatly.

I would get a top floor appartment next time, as the noise from above was really loud.

The shower was very dangerous and good easily scold a child. The water was going from cold to extremely hot. Very disappointed when we spoke to head of maintenance! He didn't give a dam and brushed it off like it was nothing. We stayed in room 137. Hopefully, no child is burned when having a shower, we could not control the temperature of the water even when on the coolest setting but hey didn't go on holidays to have freezing showers.
