Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Czech RepublicThe door at the bathroom. It was not a proper one, but rather a glass wall. It is sufficient for a private travelling, not with a travelling with a coworker. Poor Wi-Fi connection in the whole hotel.
All staff members were really nice and helpful. We experienced a sink leakage in our room, so they changed it for the other one at the same day. There was a wide variety of food for the breakfast, and it was really tasty.

United KingdomWe were put into a room with two single beds on the first night (which conflicted with our booking). They couldn't change it on the first night (a little frustrating) but they moved us for the remaining days of our trip. There is a restaurant for breakfast but it wasnt open for food at other times - opted for eating out as the only option was to eat at the bar or room service. The hotel is quite far out in Sant Marti - its a good 30 minute walk to the beach and even longer to get into central Barcelona - taxis was always an option on days when we didnt walk. The hotel is located in a very quiet business area. Next time we would opt for more central to save on transportation costs each day.
Girl with blond hair and glasses at breakfast was lovely - very friendly and accomodating. Helped me with my gluten free meals every day. Always smiling - definately stood out from the rest of the staff for her customer service skills. Breakfast was great with an excellent choice of food. Rooms were decent, very quiet, clean and spacious. Rooftop bar was nice and a real suntrap on those days when we opted to stay at the hotel. Barcleona was amazing.

United Kingdom- the staff are very rude, especially the older male staff member. Very rude to my staff when processing passports - the sauna requires 30min notice to turn on, that same member when informed that I had been there for close to 40mins his response was ‘Miss you need to be patient, go back downstairs’, after 15 mins I walked back up and spoke to someone else who told me it’s actually not working at all. - Checking out - as we are a group I informed my team of course on check out. I was informed by hotel staff ‘some of your staff have not checked out’ I requested if they could tell me which rooms/persons since they scanned all of our passports for each room. The hotel staff at the hotel mentioned that they are unable to see which rooms have not checked out so the guest have to contact all staff and find out who hasn’t. I am a team of over 30 members who checked in themselves. Thanks for the extra admin and I had to call all 25 of my members to check who was the last 3 that hadn’t handed in their key. What is the point of scanning our passports and arranging the rooms if you cannot see who’s checked in or out anyway????????? How stupid - the toilet in the hotel rooms do not have any locks. And what is even worse the door opens both ways! - IMPORTANT Note : if someone locks the bedroom door from the inside you cannot unlock the door from the outside. Staff do not have a key that can bypass this issue at all. My staff and the hotel staff members unfortunately had to knock loudly to wake up my other colleague so that he can unlock the door from the inside - no locks in toilet or showers in Sauna area - The security staff member should also be used to help those that need to get their bags. I had to wait 25-30 mins for staff to check in staff and all I wanted was my bag in the cupboard just so I can leave for the airport!!! When I asked security he pointed that I should go to front desk, so thank you for the extra charge on my cab.
The lobby is very beautiful! The food was crazy lovely! Loads of breakfast options such as : full British, waffle station, fruit station, honey with the comb, pastries, yoghurts, array of hot drinks, array of juices, gluten free breakfast options, deli meats, array of bread, and cakes. The food was the best thing here! The rooms were beautiful, some needed a few touch ups, some had no robes or towels but still beautiful rooms. - bathroom has no lock on it though!

United KingdomBefore making a reservation, I noticed that the direct rate was significantly cheaper than booking through Booking.com. However, I chose to book through Booking.com because they advertised a price match guarantee. The process of getting reimbursed for the higher rate has been abysmal. So far, they've only refunded £30.00 of the £120.00 they owe me. I've given up on calling them back and forth. On top of this, the final bill I was given was incorrect and I was charged more as they tried to incorporate the price match guarantee at the desk. I ended up nearly missing my flight with still an incorrect price amount.
The property is lovely, and a bit further out of the city centre which means it’s a lot quieter. The staff were absolutely accommodating.

United KingdomConcerns regarding security - we couldn't lock our front door, or the adjoining room door. Furthermore, almost every night we were woken by loud guests - the hotel needs to get a grip on this ensuring absolute silence after 11pm per laws.
The breakfast was good, the facilities overall were of a good quality. The housekeeping team always did an excellent job and both bar and front of house staff were great.
