It would be nice to have a small coffee machine in the room, and a small refrigerator to keep drinks cold.

It was the second time we have stayed at Vostra Llar and it was just as good as before. Clean ,comfortable and stylish throughout, with really lovely staff and a cool laid back atmosphere. The garden area is a cooling retreat from the sun, and the bar and restaurant has a long history of being popular with locals because its always been excellent. The buffet breakfast is the best in Palamós, everything fresh and of good quality. Relaxing, stylish and good value.

The two single beds only had one pillow and wished they had the second (more comfortable one!) that was on the double bed. This is a very minor point but we thought that the pictures hung on the wall in the staircase were a bit out of place and didn't fit well with the character of the property.

We booked a family room (one double and two single beds). The room was very clean, the bathroom was great (looked as if it had been recently re-done) and the shower pressure was very good. The room had a little balcony with a pretty view. The inside courtyard is very pretty and lovely to sit there and have breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The elevator is a little tiny and our baby’s pushchair didn’t fit. But the staff was extremely helpful and helped us taking it upstairs and even let us left it downstairs.

There was a building site across the street which was very loud. As they are building a hotel, it will probably stay loud for a while.

We had a nice room with a balcony. The Wifi worked well. And breakfast was wonderful and with a range of options.

This hotel offers a lovely setting with a small garden where it possible to eat and have breakfast. Very friendly staff and good restaurant. The bus stop ( bus to/from Girona) is just opposite the hotel and the beach and walking and cycling trails are very close

The only thing I was missing in the room in hot weather, was the refrigerator, to keep drinks or fruit cool / fresh But, not a big deal - I managed.

Restaurant - I enjoyed breakfast, plenty of food to choose from, coffee was great. Room- I loved my room, it was above my expectations. The bed was sooo comfortable (heaven), & the pillows - better than at home :-) Location of the hotel is also excellent, close to the beach, the bus stop is just across from the hotel, 2 "main" streets with plenty of additional restaurants, supermarkets, market etc. If you wish to do some clothes shopping, I recommend Platja D'Aro - approx. 15 minute bus ride. All staff was absolutely friendly & helpful. I also used some beauty treatment - pedicure. This is not done directly in the hotel, you must walk a short distance but it is worth it. Girls are very friendly / kind. If you don't speak Spanish, use google translator ;-)

Being able to make a reservation for their restaurant is great, because their restaurant (which otherwise doesn't accept reservations) is really amazing.

The location is just 3 minutes walking from the main promenade in front of the beach. The hotel is very well decorated. The staff is friendly and answer all your questions. The breakfast was complete and not so busy. There is free parking nearby the location
