The check-in system is ridiculous. You need to use a machine to virtually speak to a clerk to check in. Not to mention, every time you want to enter the hostal, you need to ring the door and wait sometimes several minutes to be connected with a clerk; then you need to confirm your details before you can enter. This is quite a problem late at night, when you’re just standing there on the street with the door machine’s elevator music blaring as you wait to enter the hostal. After a day of this I was eventually given a code to the front door, though why they didn’t give it immediately is beyond me. Other guests there also complained and had the same issues.

There was a significant amount of mold in the shower. The sheets had stains on them and we found hairs in the bed.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Amenities were good.

I shouldn't complain for the price, but the room was a bit stuffy. It would be nice if they could ventilate it more. The rooms are also not very soundproof so best to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Great budget room to stay near the train station, clean and functional. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bedroom and toilet pretty small, but again, clean. We could see that the room had been renewed (with low budget). There were 2 beds separated by a night table (this night table was an obstacule rather than a help). No plug to charge the cellular by that table but on another wall, no night lamp either...so to us it was an obstacle to move our arms while sleeping. The beds are not suitable for very tall people. Also no elevator, but just 2 floors, so it is not a big deal. Quite area.

We didn't have a bin in our room, but there were municipal recycling points on the other side of the road from the hostel.

This was a clean, comfortable room right across the road from the train station, and maybe 10 minutes' walk from the old town. It had everything we needed, including air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

- No elevator - Bathroom was quite narrow. When you sit down on the toilet, there isn't enough space for your legs.

+ It has all you need for a short stay. + Staff was very friendly and helpful. + Good access to the city centre (bus stop is just in front of the hostal).

I arrived in Toledo in the evening by train and planned to stay until the afternoon of next day. As the hostel didn't offer any possibility to leave my backpack until my evening train, I had to take it with me to the city center which was quite inconvenient (no luggage lockers in the train station aswell).

The value for money was good. The single room was very tiny, but had all of the necessities. Everything seemed clean, maybe a bit too strong smell of clorine.

No hairdryer or lamp light so we had full lights for evenings.

Lovely clean rooms, lots of privacy, and a room cleaning service included. Room had air-conditioning and a small balcony

Perfect for a couple of nights and close to the train station for the early morning start! Gone very modern with the check-in, personally I prefer the human touch. Close to the bus stops for up and down to Zocodover/bus station.
