This was a very nice hotel in the centre of Santander.

This was a very nice hostal in the centre of Santander. The guy on reception was very welcoming and very helpful. The room was very good and had a lovely terrace with extra glazing that cut out any noise from the square outside. I was really very pleasantly surprised by this place and would definitely go back again. I would recommend it.

I liked everything.

Large spacious room, nice new bathroom, very comfortable bed, good boiler pot for hot water, friendly helpful staff, quiet, located just off a pedestrian mall with bakery next door, lots of simple sidewalk cafes, useful shops. About a 10-15 minute walk from bus station.

It would be nice to have a kettle so I could make my morning coffee or tea.

Location is very good and I had a room with balcony that looked towards the plaza, so very quiet. My room was very clean and the bathroom with the mirror lights where a bonus! I would for sure stay here again! The owner was very helpful to give me advice where to go and gave me recommendations for great places to eat.

Super affordable spot, with bus stop outside the door to beaches or wherever you need to go. The hotel is located in a Plaza in a commercial/residential type area. Evening times in the plaza, five different cafeteria/pubs with outdoor seating open, if you want to enjoy an evening outdoor beverage. Alvaro at check in was a lovely guy and gave me a map & drew/wrote on it items of interest or handy tips re bus stops/restaurants etc. He is sooo nice, thank you Alvaro! Rooms were spotless clean, mattress and pillow were some kind of memory foam which is great if you have back or neck issues. This accommodation doesn’t offer breakfast but there a lots of places nearby. Overall, excellent value for money and super nice hotel manager Alvaro!

Everything was made beautifully and aesthetically decorated with thought. Our room was very quiet despite the central location of the hostal. Balcony was a nice surprice with comfortable chairs. We felt wellcome and I can highly recommended the hostal.

The location is brilliant for access to public transport and it brings bars, restaurants and shops within short walking distances. Have dinner in Casa Mariano and breakfast in Cafe Bar la Vina; both nearby, as advised by reception

The walls separating the rooms are quite thin so some noise can potentially be heard from the next door rooms.

The owner is the best part of this accommodation (but it's really great otherwise too)! We had multiple conversations about where I should visit in the city and how to get to each place. His restaurant recommendations were amazing and affordable. The room was clean and comfortable, slept better than at home! The bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated with high standards in mind. The location is in a more quiet residential area but a short walk (or a bus ride) away from the main shopping areas and museums. This place is really great if all you really need is a nice comfortable room to stay for your visit.

Location is more downtown than upmarket, but this means that it's a lot cheaper and less touristic. It is well connected by frequent buses that take contactless payments, so it's very easy to get about. Or you can walk along the pier if you prefer, it's very pretty. It's a good place to stay and will save you a lot of money on the more expensive hotels. The owner was very helpful and gave me a lot of good advice on how to get around etc, he also provided me with a useful map, which I still have.

Although somewhat difficult to find the entrance at first the hostal itself was very nice, clean and tidy. Bus stops are right outside with numbers 1 & 2 taking you around the coast to the lovely beaches of Magdelana and Sardinero and also Racing Santander Football stadium. Also a short walk into town and the seafront.
