The room is too small for 3 people. Small of lavander mixed with cigarette. I could hear everything from outside and people in the halls. The AC didn't work ñ.

We booked a room for 3 people, but instead we were given a room for 2 people with an extra bed. The beds were uncomfortable and small, I am 180 cm tall, my feet were no longer on the bed. The third bed was squeezed into the room, which was also extremely small for two people, by squeezing it directly in front of the wardrobe, so it was unusable. For a rural chalet trip in a primary school, the standard of service would be dismal, especially in the heart of Madrid, especially at such a price. We had to leave the accommodation after the first night, and we only stayed there because we couldn't be bothered to move at night. It still took us a whole day to find a new place. The host did not speak English, but with the help of a translation program we managed to get an agreement that he would refund us for the two unused nights, he has not done so since and Booking.com is assisting us and they are not helping us, citing the host. If you can, do not use the accommodation or Booking.com.

The blinds I did not know how to pull it down but when they clean the room, they pull it down for you. There was a refrigerator in my room but it was not working, I don't really need a refrigerator so it did not bother me.

I love the place, it is situated in an old building and the hotel is in the 3rd floor. But once you enter, it is like you are transported to a different place. The place is cozy, there were 2 old women who spoke Spanish. One understands English, so I still managed. The room is clean and they clean it everyday and change the towels. I love the location, it is near San Miguel Market, Plaza Mayor, Catedral de la Almudena, Royal Palace, and Sol. Super worth it for the price of their rooms. They don't have breakfast though, but there are a lot of food shops around so you won't get hungry.

The infestasion. It is simply not acceptable to have bedbugs in a rented room, they should be closed until they take care of it. Just when I arrived, I killed a bug and had somebody else's blood on the sheet...

The rooms are downtown, in an old building. But it is infested (bedbugs) and it is certain you are going to infest your own home after this visit. Strongly recommend against it, it is not worth it.

Quite hard to find it on the first day.

The place is located just in the centre of Madrid. It is very convenient to get anywhere as there are three different metro lines that can take you anywhere. Also, Margarita was very helpful on any request and guidance needed.

The host didn’t speak English so unfortunately that was an issue. I informed her the fridge didn’t work (previous person had left bottles in fridge that weren’t removed) -never was addressed during my 4 day stay. TV/remote also did not work. a bit noisy. Although clean this is an old place that could benefit from some upgrading.

Unfortunately as the walls of the building are very thin you heard everything,the people in the next room and comings and goings of people checking in and out during the night We had to buy ear-plugs after the first night ! Also the fridge didn't work in our room .However being on a busy street,you didn't hear any noise from the outside

I was in Madrid at the end of January, this is a winter month, of course. However, I didn't expect the room temperature to be a little warmer than outside. There Turn off the heating early in the morning! !!? I woke up cold. Taking a shower in this cold is not comfortable at all .
