Noisy at night due to restaurant being directly below. A loud fan was running for a long time and clearing up went on till past midnight. Small room. Not cheap for what it was.

There was some noise coming from close by rooms and the hallway, so it could be more soundproof. There was no hairdryer, but we also did not ask for one and maybe they would’ve been able to supply one.

The bed sheets and towels were stained. Very basic room. Entrance to the Hostal was shared with the restaurant.

Next time we are assured a room on the first floor which would help my husband who needs a new hip but otherwise a lovely stay.

Firstly the location is perfect and the view from the balcony was great especially in the morning. Unfortunately there was no lift but the stairs were worth it for the view. Breakfast was a bonus and a good selection was available. Our room was quite small but was clean and fresh. We were familiar with the hotel before had so we knew what to expect. It has a real Spanish feel which we like.

Most Spanish hotels and hostals do not provide tea-and-coffee-making facilities, which is a huge oversight. It would be a good idea to have the tea and coffee station left set up during the day for guests, with an honesty box. The bathroom was rather tired and in need of updating. We knew there was no air con when we booked, and a fan was provided, but air con is a must in the summer. However, we needed a last-minute booking and this was in the right location on the right days.

The staff were extremely pleasant, despite this being an extremely busy hostal and restaurant where the heat, rush and volume of guests and diners could sometimes get the better of people. They were all charming and helpful. We had one evening meal there and it was top-notch. The breakfast was plentiful (excellent bread!) and again, very nice staff to help with 'driving' the coffee machines! The location could not be bettered.

The socket in the room was broken, disliked the shower curtain and the room can be quite hot without airconditioning when trying to get ready!

great location, right on the promenade and our room had a decent size balcony with amazing views over the sea. the restaurant below was some of the best food we had during our stay in LlaFranc

Room was a bit tired and could do with freshening up but it was comfortable enough. Struggled to find somewhere to dry beach towels and swimsuits.

Breakfast was a little basic but was OK and it was included in the price. The coffee was very good.

Family owned and run hotel, with one of the best restaurants in Llafranc. Unique location at the beach. The family feel is very much there, the staff all professional&friendly, the inside of the hotel is beautiful

Wonderful stay in a lovely beach town. Fantastic and very personal stay, with old fashioned service. The Restaurant was fantastic and one of the better choices in town too!.
