Considering the price, this very basic accommodation is just awesome! The proximity to „Centric“ Metro station (only 3 stops or 6 mins to airport on L9) is unbeatable!!!

Very thin window nets, so no easy way to block out morning sun if intending to sleep late. Minimal soundproofing, thin walls and wooden chairs on laminate flooring without felt feet can make it a bit noisy as people move around.

Very close to Centric metro station (within 50m), convenient for Airport and City (20 minutes by metro in either direction). Large number of small local cafes, bars and restaurants along with a nearby small convenience store. Clean facilities (private room with en suite).

It was a bit difficult to find the entrance. I checked in during the posted hours, but it seems that the staff isn't there the whole time. You need to call or ring a buzzer but there's 3 different doors. I was at what looks like the main entrance. I didn't have phone service and couldn't find the buzzer. Fortunately a neighbor passed by and pointed me to the right location for the buzzer. Once I rang, the response was quite fast.

Wonderful location, very close to bus and metro routes. Super easy to get to or from the airport. Lots of restaurants, bars, fruit/veg stores, and bakeries. There's also a small park very close. Hostal staff were very friendly and helpful. Spartan accommodation, but that's why it is so inexpensive. Would definitely stay here again for a short stay. Air conditioned room, with a small terrace. It's a great base if you don't mind the very small room.

The room was spotlessly clean, however the communal shower room floor was dirty (from shoes, nothing worse), but the shower sink and loo were very clean. Perhaps if you had a better doormat at the street entrance - or a sign asking people not to wear dirty shoes indoors or just in the shower room, that would be nicer for everyone.

Maria was very helpful and prompt to arrive. I just wanted a simple room near the airport - it was perfect. Neighbourhood was very quiet - I slept well.

It's one star hostel.

Very close to airport,around 25 minutes walking. Late check in. They just send you a code and leave keys inside. Room was ok. They provide towels, shower gel. Good when you arrive late or have early flight. There are shops and restaurants around. Metro station is 2 minutes walk about.

As many wrote before, you do hear everything that is happening in the room next you, but with earplugs it was all good :)

The room was very small but as I was alone, it was OK for me. The walls are just like paper so you can hear everything what is going on in the neighbouring rooms. Although parking is free in the area but it's extremely hard to find a free space.

Compared to the similar hotels/hostals Cal Siles was far the best value. Although it's in a suburban area out of Barcelona but there is a metro station for 2 minutes walk which takes you to the city and what's even better, it takes you to the airport in less then 10 minutes.

I have no complaints as I was not expecting a 4 star hotel at 42€ a night. But noise could be a problem as walls are paper thin. Luckily I was not affected by this during my 1 night stay as there were no rowdy customers, so I got a good night's sleep.

I only stayed 1 night so I can’t say a lot about the place. But it’s a cheap and nice option when you arrive late at the airport to check in the next day comfortable into your airbnb. Also the communication was very easy.

If all you need is a bed to rest your head on a long layover or before a flight, this will serve the purpose. Don't expect much, however there is a bed, bathroom and hot water. It's about a 15 minute bus ride from the airport. Very convenient.
