There was a construction near the hostel so from 11 AM until 5 PM it was a bit noisy.

The hostel is quite simple and small. But if you are looking for a clean room, a desk, and a good location for a reasonable price the hostel should meet your expectations.

Only accessible to rooms via a lift. Reception staff could have been a little friendlier she was rather moody at check in. A smile goes a long way :)

Okay room for the price. Nice position for an event I was attending and a nice dark room to sleep. Facilities were okay.

The room wasn't big, but totally acceptable

I got even more than I expected. I just needed a place to sleep at night and to have a shower, because the work schedule was very tight. Everything was clean, each day there was room service, which changed the towels, made the bed, and did overall cleaning.

The room was very small, with not much space to move. The hairdryer was manual. I came to the hotel dreaming about a great night - as I wasn't able to sleep much in the other rooms I was in -, but I couldn't. The acoustics of the room are awful. I spent 3 hours of my precious sleep time listening to my neighbor who was talking loudly (and on speaker) with some people on his phone at 0-1 AM, watching TV and doing commentaries. I knocked to the wall and yelled but it did nothing. At 3 AM I went to him and asked him to stop - his room was very far away from mine (despite being the room next to mine) yet his noise could even be heard from the hall! In the end, the noise was completely off and I was even able to hear him turning off the lights from my room, so imagine how bad the noise isolation is. I slept mostly 4hrs because of that. They charge you to save the bags after check out. They told me it was 2€ for each bag, however, the information that the hotel told me here on booking.com was that travel bags were 2€ and bags like backpacks were 1€, but they charged me 2€ for the backpack (charging me nothing for the sack I also asked them to save - which was nice). The employees didn't speak English very well - thankfully, I'm able to speak a bit of Spanish, but I saw some guests having to resort to using the google translation feature.

It was affordable for a night - I didn't need to be in a hostel, I could have my own room. It also had a private WC, which is the best. Room was clean, and it had a TV, a desk and AC as well. Wifi was free. The workers were nice. The room doesn't have a microwave or a fridge (unfortunately), but they let me use the one in the reception for free. While the location wasn't the best in my POV (the streets weren't interesting or really close to the places I were visiting), it was really close to the metro, which made it worth it.

Isolation in the walls is not that good. We could hear easily our neighbours talking.

Perfect place for a short stay. There are plenty of restaurants close by. The metro station is also very close.

It was difficult to maneuver in the bathroom because it was so narrow.

The location was ideal for my visit, the rooms were very clean and the beds were excellent for my liking. Air conditioning worked well which is a must in Madrid summers. Great value for money.

Very thin walls — I could hear other guests talking and even snoring during the night. Additionally, my window shutters were broken and I could not cover the window and I did not sleep as well as I wanted to.

Very nice, even if small, room. Quite comfortable bed. Clean in both room and common spaces. Easy to find the reception and close to the metro station. Air conditioning in the room worked very well. The price to quality ratio is on point.
