No breakfast. We were put in an annex building, which felt a bit isolated because it was a few doors down from main hotel. Loading and unloading were a bit difficult and more guidance from the hotel would have been appreciated.

Location was fabulous. One room had a gorgeous roof top terrace.

Alameda was the perfect location for our stay in Tarifa. It was just a short walk from the ferry dock and super close to a range of quaint shops and restaurants in the streets behind the hotel. Don’t go to the touristy cafes adjacent to the accommodation- walk around the alleyways at the rear. They were a delight. The room itself was basic but comfortable, clean and had a comfortable bed and good airconditioning. The bathroom was adequate for a short stay. The lady who checked us in and showed us to our room was friendly, helpful and professional.

This location is perfect, right across from the ferry office, close to a beautiful beach, sunny, comfortable air conditioned room and multiple restaurants within a very short distance. We stayed for five nights and wish it were longer!

The hostal bedroom doors were impossible to close without making a slamming noise. Thin walls, I could hear someone snoring in an adjacent room. No lift.

The room and view from the room were very good. Comfortable bed and nice mini balcony with chairs and table overlooking the square and harbour. Very close to the old town.

The only thing I didn't like were the steep stairs going up to my room. I thought I read that there was an elevator and I had a very heavy bag. But the amazing woman who checked me in helped me carry my bag up to the room.

I wasn't expecting how nice this would be with "hostal" in the name. It is far from any hostal I've ever seen! It was more like a luxury boutique hotel. And the staff was so helpful! The pictures online do not do it justice. It is much nicer! And you can't beat the location. The ferry is right outside the door as are a wonderful bar/ restaurant.

Nothing. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again in the future. Highly recommended stay for anyone going to Tarifa! We didn't see any parking there but we didn't need it, so not 100% sure on that.

Great staff! Our ferry from Morocco was delayed 12 hours so we had to check in at 5am. The front desk clerk was able to get us checked in quickly and off to your room. The location is perfect if you are coming from the ferry you can literally see the port from the hotel. Just a 3 minute walk. Great location to walk to everything as well. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. We booked the room with the terrace, which was really nice. The rooms with the terrace are in a separate building than the front desk and other rooms. It is more private and quiet.

5 mins. walk from port. Restaurant across the street open at 8 am. Everything like brand new.

The fridge was off and it took a while to figure out how to set the rear dial for cooling. No real dial markers. The door could use a deadbolt lock of some kind. The maid service came in , even though we had the "do not disturb" sign on the handle. Not a big deal though.

Parking is a challenge. We just drive around until we saw someone pulling out. And fortunately it was very close.

This is the absolute perfect location for travelers taking the ferry to Tanger. It’s just across the street…3minute walk.
