The location is fantastic, the views are outstanding where ever you look

This place is an amazing getaway never felt so relaxed in a long time. The pool the restaurant the rooms all were exceptional and had their own charm. I would recommend to everybody

We stayed in their feature room. Awesome. Grounds were beautiful. Spa was excellent. Service was very good. Food was great and we made use of the fireplaces each day.

we stayed twice with a space of 3 weeks in between .The first night stay was brilliant staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly .The second stay wasn’t quite as good ,we waited 20 minutes to even to be recognised that we were waiting for breakfast ,there was only one other couple in the restaurant and a party of 8 outside having breakfast.It was unacceptable especially for a 5 star hotel

there is nothing to not like all fantastic, previous traveler’s might have problem finding it , very simple travel from Vargas to las presillas there is a bus stop and crossing you cannot miss turn left, you have the blue houses on your left,go all the way up , you will find the property on the right, enjoy your stay

It is a hotel in a secluded area with a fantastic view of the valleys surrounding it. The place is exquisite in every sense. The palace is beautiful, the decoration is extraordinary, the service is outstanding, the food is fantastic. There are places to visit in the vicinity, but once you are there, you want to stay there. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the beds and pillows just wrap you.

Excellent hotel, situated in a family palace in reaching distance of the Santander area. The hotel was beautifully decorated, the rooms were great as well as the common areas, including a pool with great views over the valley. We also had great dinner and breakfast in the property. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the top hotels we stayed in through our road trip through Spain.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the rooms to be very comfortable and had a great meal in the restaurant. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke good English. We had trouble finding the hotel because the directions included road names that didn’t exist. We spoke to the hotel about this and how we lost time driving back and forth trying to get data service to locate the hotel. Also we were not told about any activities apart from the gym but when I looked at other booking sites it mentions bikes and riding to explore the local environs. I asked about walking trails and we were given 2 maps which had us on the road. Otherwise we slept really well and it was a wonderful quiet and calm place to relax.

Mediocre hotel that posits itself as high-end. The room was absolutely awful. Exposed shower next to the bed, very low attic ceilings in half of the room, so you constantly hit yourself on the head when entering the shower, taking something out of your luggage, making a coffee… You also cannot see your face in the mirror unless you bend down so can’t apply cosmetics or do your hair comfortably. The horrible layout makes the space feel suffocating. As far as the hotel itself, disheveled spaces, parking in a badly-maintained lawn, no elevator. The management and reception make you look like an idiot for holding them to a higher standard. Don’t waste your money. Go elsewhere.

We were very disappointed in our room .My husband could only stand upright in a very small space and I hated that we only had sky lights and not windows .These conditions need to be very clearly stated on the hotel web site
