A bit pricy for a small room. Floor in bathroom could do with a wash right in to the corners. Watch out for steps… steps up… steps down!

The room felt a bit too small for 3 people. There was no lamp, no desk/shelf and no socket near the single bed. At night, there was a bit of draft from the window (only affected the single bed). Rather thin walls so you can easily hear noises from other rooms (which, in our case, was only an issue on the last night of the stay, with noisy neighbours). There could be more space for hanging towels etc. in the bathroom and the hangers could be placed more conveniently (not right above the toilet). Garbage separation bins are provided, which is great, but there should also be some clearer instructions since guests would just put mixed waste in all bins.

Great location in the very city centre, super close to Picasso Museum, Gothic District, shops and the station, and within walking distance to the beach and several attractions. The guest house is located in a beautiful building. Clean room with a cool balcony. Friendly and helpful staff (both the receptionist and the housekeeper). Good communication, flexible check-in and the possibility to leave the luggage after the check-out. Nice little kitchen with a fridge, coffee and tea facilities, a microwave and kitchenware. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. The awesome location and friendly staff compensated for some slight shortcomings.

Just felt the last night of my three night stay was a bit noisy from other guests. Someone seemed to be listening to radio/podcast at 4.15am for quite some time. Noise from other room until midnight, loud chat and laughter.

Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable. Spotless. Great location for sightseeing, so many places within walking distance.

I stayed in the single room. Very very tiny, but was able to make it work.

The guest house is in a great location. It was great to have the communal kitchen, where I could prepare simple meals and store items in the fridge. Staff were very friendly.

When we first arrived there were strands of hair on the bedding and pillow cases which made us feel a little uncomfortable.

This is the perfect location when staying in Barcelona. Barceloneta beach was a 15 minute walk, the Gothic Quarter and Sagrada Familia was around a 30 minute scenic walk. Only 5 minutes away there were lively touristy streets with restaurants, shops and many museums including Moco Museum. The train station is also a 2 minute walk from the Guest House. The terrace view of the streets is also really nice. We were 3 young girls staying at this guest house and we felt very safe here and the host was lovely.

The air con has a self life, during night it goes on and is very cold. Didn't find how to change that so we turned off.

Location was great, easy to get to by train. It's nice and central to the Gothic Quarter and also walking distance (about 15 minutes) to the beach. The staff were lovely and really helpful. They also let us keep our bags there for a few hours after check out.

They’re weren’t many negatives about the place, my biggest one is how thin the walls are, our room was right next to reception and could hear everyone coming in and out. And I doubt any other room would be better for this also the Guest house is small. Where these are only my preferences, this is what I didn’t like. The room was a bit small for us, it is probably perfect for an individual but as a couple we found ourselves manoeuvring around each other a lot. Same goes for the balcony which was extremely small however, that goes for all the balcony’s we could see in the area. I would recommend getting a balcony room as it did feel more spacious having that extra bit of room. Lastly, I felt it was very slightly overpriced for what it is, I understand the location is a huge selling point but, for what you get it seemed a bit expensive compared to others in Barcelona.

The location of the property was superb! We were in walking distance of everything we wanted to do and just if we got a bit lazy, we cycled places which was very enjoyable. Which is also very easy to do in Barcelona. The room we had was clean, we had no issues there and the balcony was a great addition to the room. We found ourselves on the balcony every night, people watching as we were looking out onto a busy street. Staff were very polite also, considering there was a slight language barrier there but that’s understandable, it is probably more of a reflection on how I speak. Lastly, the bed was comfortable and that’s one of the main things really.

The bathroom was rather cramped for use of the shower/toilet but again I expected it to be very small for this single room and all was in perfect condition/clean and new-looking so no complaints. Shower was great.

Guillermo who met me on arrival was super-friendly, efficient and welcoming. The room was small -as expected and clearly stated on booking - but perfectly clean and comfortable. Quiet. Location perfect for me working in the port and electronic key entry to room/leaving keys on departure without having to meet anyone works as I left really early. Complimentary water, coffee, tea and pastries is a great touch too.

It was very noisy. Walls were thin. You could clearly hear other guest talking and partying till four in the morning.

The room was clean and the balcony was great. The kitchen facilities were a nice feature and kept very clean. The staff were very helpful.
