The location in the middle of Nothing and the view was excellent. The entire builing was super nice and the owner very nice and friendly. We loved the food in the evening. Nick is a great cook!

This place is just exceptionally beautiful. Everything about is just piece, tranquillity and hospitality. The views are lovely, the rooms are beautifully decorated and all amenities you can wish for is available. The food is great and the hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back, very soon.

The rooms were so clean and the property was beautiful! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The swimming pool was very big and was great for cooling down. The host was helpful with local tips and was very welcoming. The meals were healthy and delicious. It was one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in and I’ll definitely return when I visit Spain.

Zero improvements at all

We LOVED everything about this place ! The location is stunning - surrounded by olive farms and an incredible open landscape. The casa itself is a tasteful , opulent and traditional Spanish styled home. The layout is delightful, pool area is brilliant along with our favourite- day bed ! Our room was lovely - sumptuous super king bed ,under i floor cooling and plush bathroom! The owners are fun, welcoming and clearly have an eye for quality and style ! Staff are really nice - overall it’s an absolutely fantastic experience and only thing we regret is not having booked for a few days! We’ll be back !

We loved all of it. Really was the perfect stay.

Al Amparo was just amazing! The backdrop was beautiful and the hotel itself lived up to it. Meeting Jodie was like meeting an old friend. She and the staff at Al Amparo were so very welcoming and tended to our every need. The food was both homely and extraordinary. We ate there both nights and were really pleased with our decision. The rooms were clean and really functional. Al Amparo was a great stay for me and my young family (my two year old did not want to leave!) but I would equally go back with just my wife or even on my own (if she let me!). Can’t wait to go back next year.

A fly spray in the room could have been useful.

Wonderful location for a short and peaceful break. The hosts were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. The accommodation is excellent with very comfortable beds and nice linen. For total relaxation, the pool and pool terrace is superb. Jodi certainly made our stay for 2 nights very pleasurable by catering for our needs with good service.

Stunning countryside hotel, don’t know where to start. Nick and Jody what a fabulous hotel you have created. And what beautiful hosts you are. Interior of our room very tastefully decorated and beautiful bathrooms, never experienced underfloor cooling system but excellent. Swimming pool area, I didn’t want to leave. Amazing views and such comfortable sunbeds. What a treat we experienced, we were lucky enough to experience a 5 course tasting menu from a visiting London chef and wife. 10/10 delicious food and wonderful staff. Our stay at your beautiful hotel will stay in our memories forever. Thank you to you all at ‘El Elamparo we cannot wait to return, for longer next time. Muchas Gracias xx

Absolutely nothing

The property was very well thought out, spacious room, blackout shutters which are triple glazed, comfortable king size bed, good quality linen, lovely huge rainfall shower. Double aspect balconies with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside. The hosts Jody and Nick could not have made us more welcome, we felt like family and nothing was too much trouble. The food is fabulous we don’t eat meat and the meals, breakfast, packed lunches and dinners were very well thought out and executed by Jody, Simon the chef and Marta. it was our wedding anniversary whilst we stayed there and Marta made us the most delicious handmade chocolate truffles and left them in our fridge as a lovely surprise and she made our breakfast table so special, she is a gem to behold. We are already planning to return to the property in September, we want to tell people how fantastic this place is, but also don’t so we can have the place to ourselves ♥️

Nothing :).

El Amparo is een oase of peace where all your stress - if you have any - dissapears as snow in the sun. Not only is everything very stylish and beautiful, but also very comfortable. The sunbeds were better than the beds in our previous hotel haha. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings and a large bathroom. You can make the room of your baby / kid as dark as you like which is a great plus if you ask me :). But the most important part is how much you feel at home and welcome! Jody is a great host. She saw me trying to cut some fruit for our baby and offered to make her a fresh fruit and figs yoghurt “baby breakfast”, how sweet :)! Diner was really nice and fun. I can really recommend this beautiful place.

Thank you to Jody, Nick Marta and Simon for going out of their way to look after us. Especially as we had taken a taxi there and not arrived by car, they helped us into town and back and again on the last day took us to our next destination. The rooms and pool area were beautiful. Jody is a great cook too.
