Luis is attentive and easy to reach. He answers questions and messages promptly and does everything he can to make sure you have everything you need. He has put his heart and soul into lovely building and surroundings and his wife has made sure everything you need is there waiting for you.

The house itself has a rustic charme only when it is getting dark you would wish for more cosy lighting inside the house.

Beautiful setting, overlooking Sierra Nevada, close to the most emblematic villages of the region "Alpujarra alta" yet "away from it all". One house with three units, two downstairs and a large one upstairs. When we were there it was incredibly nice and quiet with only one couple next door but we cannot tell what it is like when there are six or so people on the upper floor. Nice pool area, you can enjoy the views while swimming. Well maintained gardens, we had the roses in full blossom! Every apartment has it's own private terrace, you have chairs by the pool and there are benches in different spots. The host Luis is very kind and welcoming and generous with his local knowledge. Just follow his recommendations for tours and restaurants - you are in very good hands. .

The kitchen is very basic, only a small microwave and no oven and limited utensils. We managed ok, but as the apartment is remote, we had meals in during the evening and were slightly limited what we could cook. Also would be nice to have a washing machine, especially as the location is so well set up for walking and would be great to wash your clothes after a few days of walking.

House was in a great location. Perfect for walks in the region and explore the villages nearby. The apartment was beautiful and a great place to relax. The whole house had underfloor heating, which meant is was nice and warm everywhere. Easy to communicate with the host and overall a great stay.

The twin beds are too small for two people, I think, especially if they are grown-up and/or big and tall. Later we were allowed to use the bedroom with the seperate beds so our daughters could sleep a lot better.

The appartment for 6 people was a little paradise in the mountains of the beautiful Alpujarra. Everything was neat, clean, operating and nice. Best part is the terrace outside: you see the mountains everywhere. Also from the inside (in the house); the windows offer the vieuw of the mountains. Louis is the perfect host: he built the house with love and it shows. He was always kind, generous, informing us when needed, cooperative and accurate.

The pillows were a little too hard for our taste however absolutely nothing else was negative.

The host was very good at explaining where the house was, how to enter, he and his partner came and visited us for the first few minutes and explained everything. Fabulous spot. Ambient temperature in the house all the time left us feeling extremely comfortable. In the morning we had car trouble. The host was there to help and later came to find us with small items that the girls had left in their bedroom. Nothing was too much trouble.

A perfect place to spend a few days of peaceful, Andalusian bliss in La Alpujarra. An enormous bed in a spacious apartment. Our lodging looked out over the valley, pool, terrace, and solarium which we especially enjoyed. Hosts were friendly and offered us a delightful treat. We look forward to returning.

I found the bed a bit harsh for my back. Not because the bed was bad quality, it is just that my back need a softer place to rest in. The sheets were clean and perfect.

Be aware that the nearest restaurants are about 3km away in Pampaneira and out of season we only found one open at night. Bring your own food and drink. We had to go to Capileira to find a supermarket.

I Set in a stunning location, the accommodation was extremely clean, quiet and well equipped. The enormous bed was superbly comfortable. Luis is a friendly host and a good source of local and tourist information.
