Cockroaches in the kitchen and that I waited more than 1 hour to entry. They send something about check in but in Spanish language and on email. Booking didn't inform me about this. Also they requested all information about my family, like passport details, date of birth (throw their website). Also there is no parking and busy tight street.

We had to rearrange the dates several times due to covid-19, the original dates were July 2020. The accommodation granted a free change only, the other two times we had to pay extra. I completely understand it's a business that needs to survive. I would have loved if booking.com have dealt with the issue a bit better, but nothing against the property, to be honest. The apartment is on a third floor, the lift wasn't working, not an issue for us, but we were not informed on arrival. Decor was a bit dated (my personal taste) and there was a plug off the socket on the wall that might have been dangerous if children around. During our stay there was some work happening on the floor above, loads of drilling. I again completely understand it's nothing to do with the property itself, but we should have been advised on that. They had all the weekend to tell us. A bit of a lingering smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. The last day of our stay the water was cut off after 9am, we were not told of this inconvenience until I queried with the property. Was told it would come back at noon, but service was not reinstated until after 7pm (we had to go out and didn't come back until after dinner, so not sure when service was back up). It wouldn't have been a problem at all if the property had informed us in advance, even if, as they said, they were told late the night before, we would have appreciated a warning message at any time. Only for drivers: not an issue for us as we were lucky with parking, please note that the area, being a central part of Santa Cruz, is very notorious for the difficulty to find parking places. It's free to park but it's very difficult to find a space, there is a lot of cars in Santa Cruz, and there are very narrow streets.

In the middle of town, close to amenities, shops, the park. Spacious apartment, plenty of storage, well equipped, bright. Kitchen fully equipped, thanks for the welcome water and drink. Bedroom with double comfy bed and storage. Bathroom vey bright, good shower pressure. Living room with sofa bed and big telly with many TV channels, didn't use it but WiFi worked perfectly and I assume if you want to spend a night in, there would be a lot of TV entertainment.

Contact with host hopeless, presume it was merely a robot ‘AI’ handling. Had an access problem, could have been quite serious, but, no effective help from available channels. .. Very disappointing customer care

Host only explained joining instructions 24 hours before access. Host used virtual key with very unclear and misleading instructions. We spent 40 minutes on the phone to gain access. Size of apartment was OK but furniture too large and poor quality. No instructions to use tv

My worst „stay” by far- there is an electronic entrance system which didn’t work. The manager didn’t bother to pick up my call, texted me, sure tried to fix the problem, finally managed to let me into the apartment but i couldn’t get out of the building as there was no key to the building door and electronic system didn’t work. Worst of all the manager didn’t listen, didn’t pick up the phone, call me.. and at last- didn’t agree for the refund ( I had to find anorher stay as I’m not custom to be somebody’s prisoner for my money). Think twice before staying there.

I was not particularly impressed with the design of the apartment. The bedroom felt a bit crowded with too much furniture, in my humble opinion. However, this can also just be a matter of personal taste.

Easy communication with the hosts! There is a digital lock so the door is opened remotely when you arrive and you find the keys inside. Smart and efficient, especially in these Covid times. The place is equipped with all the appliances you need, making it a perfect holiday spot for both short stays and longer holidays. Parking in the area is indeed quite challenging however, we managed to find a decent deal at Parking Santa Rosalia, 3 minutes away.
