Great location (Carrer de la Pescataría). Property had a small bedroom, very nice bedding), small but beautiful bathroom, large and well-equipped living area with 2 sets of curtains (net/semi-transparent, and sun blinds).

The bathroom door is a problem. You have to wedge yourself between the sink and the shower to get the door closed to then be able to get tot the toilet. The door must be manipulated every time you want to use the toilet and that's to get in and out. Bad design. The door should open out or be a pocket door. For larger people (I wear men's 34 and it was already a little tight), it may actually be impossible to get to the toilet without first going into the shower! No joke! The couch was stained and dirty looking and we stayed away from it which was too bad as we really needed to relax after long days walking the city. Sometimes I think places like this (airBnB style places) should have couch slip covers that can be replaced and washes like sheets. Or provide extra sheets that can be used to cover the sofa. The curtains on the 4 large windows do not cover the sides very well leaving a 4-6 inch gap between the curtain and the wall, so it is always possible for people in the apparents across the street to see you and you them limiting greatly your privacy.

Very nice calming design, nice kitchenette with Nespresso coffee machine and 4 pods provided. Large common space. Safe. Place was very clean. Good beds and pillow selection and added conforter. Good AC but contrôler would always reset after some time to 20C which was a bit cold for us. Nice large shower with both rain-shower head and also a hand shower head.

the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and when you walked on the faux timber floor, water bubbled up between the floor boards. it was a bit husk and we used all the towels no the floor.

The location of the apartments is excellent, near cafes, pubs, restaurants and relatively close on foot to the city center and the metro station. The room was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The communication with the place was good and they answered all our questions quickly.

Emma was immensely hospitable and helpful. Five starts for her! Our second apartment was perfect. Was the first apartment worth the 350 plus cleaning fee, before we could move into our five day apartment - probably not but so it goes. Overall an excellent stay.

Unit was very clean, and well stocked with essentials (plates, sheets, towels, etc) for four people. Hosts provide complementary water and coffee (there is a Nespresso machine). Office is right downstairs if you need anything. Location is fantastic for exploring the Gothic Quarter and Born area. Very nice area and easy to get around.
