We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IrelandThe duvet had no covers on them only a sheet which came off. We asked the hotel reception if our duvet could be covered and they weren’t able to accommodate this. It felt quite unhygienic. The apartments could do with a refurb as they are quite old. The chairs in the patio were not clean. No iron in the hotel.
The recently refurbished guest areas were lovely. Excellent pool and friendly bar and event staff. The breakfast was nice and drinks were reasonable. The hotel events at night were enjoyable

SpainWe were at first allocated to a room where the kitchen was not working from the very beginning and when we informed the recepcionist the solution she provided was basically sending a technician to get it fixed instead of changing the room straightaway. We got back to the room and waited for the technician for 20 minutes (who never showed up) and in the meantime the electricity stopped working too. We went back to the reception to inform and again the answer was waiting for the technician. Of course we did not accept the solution and requested a new room, which was granted. The new room was ok but none of the rooms have toilet brush. I would negatively highlight that we stayed for 5 nights and the room cleaning service only took place once.

A partially renewed hotel, looks like some part is relatively new, some part was from 90’s. room was clean and finding a car park was a big plus. Even in September, it was pretty difficult to find parking place in cala galdana.

The hotel was located in a quiet part of Santa Galdana, but very close to at least two of the best restaurants in the resort (we did not have time to try the third). Although I was asked to rate paid wifi we had free wifi which worked quite satisfactorily. We had good breakfasts included in our booking.

United KingdomNot at all the hotel’s fault but our apartment (316) faced a private house and they kept partying all night so we could barely sleep. We called reception and they said they would call the police but the party went on. We were doing the Camí de Cavalls and sleep was essential. Perhaps if you are in the same situation ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
The apartment was modern and the bed very comfortable. Nice shower.

United KingdomUpon arrival there was only 2 bath towels available. Bathmat, hand towels were missing, no bottled water in the fridge (receptionist mentioned there may be bottled water in there), no tea bags or coffee either. Daily housekeeping was below standard. Toilet paper was not replenished. There is a sign in the room saying if you want your towels changed, leave them in the bathtub. We did that, towels were taken by housekeeping but clean towels were not left whatsoever. We had to ring reception to get this and the toilet paper issue sorted. Dirty dishes (2 glasses and 2 plates) where left in the sink and ignored. As others pointed it out, towels are in a rather shabby state, edges frayed, some holes in them, visible marks on bathmat etc. Balcony door could not be locked, entrance door is a bit hard to open with the key provided. The hotel is not too bad though but basic things like this should be sorted and taken care of imo.
Breakfast: Plenty of options to choose from, we liked that. Receptionist is courteous and helpful. Asked for a taxi just before check-out and they arranged one for us. Like the interior of the room and the shower gel provided in the bathroom. Beds were comfy too. Property is about 5-10 min on foot to the closest beach. Closest restaurant is about 2 min walk from the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was superb and had a wide variety of options. The pool was clean and had a bar provided. Location wise it was great as it was very close towards the main beach and several others were a short walk away.

For people with food allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences it would have been much easier if next to the name of the dish, they had written what it contained, so that we didn’t have to ask the staff. I’m dairy intolerant and my friend is vegetarian, it was not clear from just the name of the fish what it contained.
