Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomQuite basic accommodation for cost, very closed in breakfast room which was a shame as breakfast was ok, terrible positioning of bathroom items ( bidet and loo roll holder ).
Great position ( next to beautiful beach and approx 25 mins walk into city round the bays), good parking facilities, lovely Argentinian lady on reception ( very friendly and helpful), comfy bed.

GermanyThe only negative is the quality of some of the sockets. They literally fall out, which is generally unsafe.
Great location - within walking distance of the beach, there is a large supermarket nearby. The room was huge, although there was a road nearby, it didn’t interfere with sleep. There is a heated towel rail, you can dry things if necessary

United KingdomRoom was very basic. Bathroom especially was quite old and a little bit dirty. Looked old and like it needed replacing. Found quite a lot of hairs each day that weren't ours and where glass screen for shower met bath was very dirty. Not a lot of space in bathroom either.
Location was good, close to ondaretta beach and some nice local bars and bakeries near by.

United KingdomThe hot water tap in the basin of our room barely functioned. It gave a dribble of water. I complained about this but nothing was done to remedy it in the four days we stayed at the hotel.
Comfortable and well-equipped room with nice balcony, though small. Breakfast buffet area was noisy when busy.

NetherlandsVery small garage and not easy to find. You first need to enter the hotel to ask for directions for parking. The street needed for drive through was closed at that point.
The hotel is pet friendly! We enjoyed our one-night stay. The beds were comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean. Location of the hotel is good. Some public transport in front of the hotel.

United StatesMy only concern was with breakfast. It is said that is served till 11 am but, as a matter of fact, when I arrived at 8 am everything was ok, but when I arrived at 10.30 and even at 10.00 most of the food was already finished and was not refilled anymore. I don't think it was a problem of the waiter as she was running all the time in and out of the kitchen to refill things. I guess it is a matter of the organization of the Hotel that is not considering so important to serve a full breakfast till the end of the service.

AndorraFantastic as always. We visit San Sebastian at least once a year and we always stay at Codina Hotel. Very well located in "Antiguo" neighborhood, it's close to the beach and very convenient for us. Room and bathroom are comfy and clean, staff is friendly and wifi works very well, so I would recommend it for sure.

Very helpful staff who spoke good English small room but well laid out and convenient for La Concha beach. A bus stops almost outside that runs to the old town. Dog bed and bowl provided. Pleasant walk of about 30mins along the sea front to the old town
