It can be a bit noisy as the walls are not that thick but we slept great nevertheless.

We had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious and clean, even had two sinks, which is perfect as the room fits up to 5 people. Location close to the airport and parking for free next to the house. We also used the common kitchen, which was well-equipped. Hosts were super welcoming.

The room was very nice and had everything we required. The shower was FANTASTIC!! There was a beautiful sitting area where we could relax and watch Eurocup 2024. Although we didn’t use them, the kitchen facilities looked great. All in all, the property was more than great. Gerard, our host, was VERY communicative and was OVER THE TOP when it came to hospitality! I would highly recommend this property!

Almost everythin Was good. I would have wished a little bit more help with the Busses. People at night were loud in the house.but i asked the host to ask them be more quiet and that helped.

It a house which you share with some other guests. Very nice modern bathroom. The host was very nice, we had good conversations, he explained me how to take the train to bilbao Center and how to use Google maps for finding Busses. Its quiet neighboorhood.. The host takes you personally by car to the airport.costs: 15 Euro

Everything! The location is close to the tram station and airport so it is easy for travelers to get there, yet it was in a very quiet neighborhood- If you didn’t know it, you wouldn’t be able to tell that public transportation was near. Right from opening the door, I felt at home! Roberto and Jose welcomed me and showed me around the home. When needed, they easily used Google translate (I’m monolingual with minimal Spanish). They were terrific! When my plans suddenly changed, I contacted the owner and quickly received a reply. Gerard graciously helped me figure out different transportation plans. All three of them went out of their way to ensure I felt safe and comfortable!

Common living room and kitchen is rather treaky to enjoy. Something like improoved hostel but by the cost of hotel. Wi-fi didn't work the day we arrived, accidentally I suppose.

The staff bent over backwards to help us with the room and the language barrier. Was able to use a phone app to translate. Owner even called us a taxi to the airport. Every thing was Very clean and well taken care of. Nicely decorated, felt like home.

After spending 9 hrs in Bilbao airport, due to a cancelled flight by easyJet and then a promise of rearranged flights that never came to fruition, we were left seeking local accommodation for the night at very short notice. We found Chalet Bilbao-Aeropuerto and were able to book our reservation for the night, even though it was 9.30pm. Our host, Gerard communicated with us immediately via WhatsApp to check our eta and confirm all relevant details. The taxi ride from the airport was approx 10mins and cost €22. On arrival we messaged Gerard to obtain entry, he greeted us and gave us a tour of the property. We were located on the second floor, in room 5. Which consisted of a private, secure bedroom with two twin beds and one single. We had ample storage space. Bedding clean and comfortable. Fan provided in room for use. WiFi was provided and connectivity was excellent. We had access to a shared bathroom on our floor (shared only with one room, room 4), which on this occasion was empty. We were supplied with two fresh towels. The bathroom had a wc, basin, shower, and toiletries; such as shampoo, soap, shower gel were provided. There was also a high quality hairdryer available for use. The communal areas were well presented. There are designated shelves within the kitchen for each of the 5 rooms. Check out was 11am. Prior to vacating Gerard had messaged to see if we required any additional assistance. We required a taxi into Bilbao centre, rather than arranging a taxi he himself took us by car, which we greatly appreciated. Gerard went above and beyond, he was personable and attentive. We would have no qualms in recommending.
