The shower could use a light, it has a covered outdoor shower and arrived late so my shower was in the dark with very little ambient light. It's a nice setup when the suns out. Could've used a heater in my room, it was freezer.

Perfect location for us. We were on track at Cartagena Circuit which was only 10 minutes away. There was a small town nearby which had supermarkets for our needs. Next time we are at Cartagena Circuit we would stay here again.

Great location - 15 mins from Cartagena and local beaches. Lovely house with good size pool. Dan and Viv are very friendly and helpful hosts. We also met their rescued dogs, what a fantastic team!

A bit out out the way, so a car is a must - but well worth the drive.

Comfortable 3 night stay, we took advantage of meals as it is a few miles to nearest restaurant, we were well fed and also had shared use of a small kitchen. There is a shared lounge with full English TV possible. Dan and Viv are lovely and we met their dogs on request(they are not allowed in guest part of the property). The yoga,pilates and mosaic classes look very interesting and I would love to try at a later date if I am able. The property is called Tara's Retreat and it was. This is a guest house, bedrooms are off the lounge / dining room. The ensuite toilet and shower and built in wardrobe is tactically situated between the rooms and consideration is requested after 10pm for other guests. We slept like babies in the massive king double bed which could be separated on request into 2 singles. The mattress was so comfortable and the bedding was layers of covers that meant you could adjust to suit. Dan sent links for places to visit via what's app . We visited Cartagena, Mazerrón, Batería de Castillitos, Murciá Cathedral and Casino.

Viv and Dave friendly couple, loved seeing the rescue dogs their that Viv and dave look after. Very quite peaceful brilliant parking and convenient to get around beaches not far away.Would stay again.Sue.

WiFi connection was poor in the room but ok elsewhere. Additional amenities are sold cash-only.

Very friendly and obliging staff. The room was bigger than I expected from the description although I wonder how a bit bigger dude would fit in the shower :) The terrace is really nice especially in the evening. And the swimming pool although I did not swim myself this time. Dan let me wash my moto in the yard. A huge number of movies available on TV. Fridge, micro and everything if you prefer to store/make your own food.

Only couple of small things. Be nice to have a ceiling fan as windows had mozzy nets would have preferred fan on with windows open rather than aircon during the night (very hot as August) this is just our preference. Bathroom in our room bit snug.

Wonderful chilled out place, relaxing by the pool, nice garden to snooze. Made to feel at home nothing was to much trouble. Owners Dan & Vivian on hand and happy to help. Guest have shared kitchen which has everything you need, plus if required you can order breakfast, lunch & dinner. Definitely recommend if you just want to recharge for couple days.

I recommend. You feel at home at Dan's place. Extremely easy to park your car. It is worth every cent you pay for the stay.

Everything was ok, the only problem we have met was when we used Google maps to go to the Casa Vida and while searching by address another name of the place appeared. And we get confused 😃

The Casa Vida is located in small village near Cartagena. Room was cosy and fine decorated. In our room there was a private bathroom. There is well equipped kitchen, coffee machine and washing machine for the use of guests. The entire house is decorated with works of Dan and Viv - the owners. Guest can spend time in the garden, aside to the pool or in the living room. This place was great place to rest after intensive holidays. In fact we spend entire day in garden.

Tranquil, peaceful, comfortable and easily able to relax. Dan and Val are so welcoming and inspirational. We would have liked to extend our time here, but our road trip schedule didn't allow us to do so.

Great place to chill out. Dan is a great host and will provide you with a splendid evening meal if you so wish. If you prefer to prep your own meal then there is a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. No problem what so ever safely storing my bicycle safely inside. I would be more than happy to stop here again in the future.
