You could smell food (fish) cooking when walking in the hallways but now in the rooms. But that was small issue.

The room was sleek, modern with a marble bathroom entered through frosted, sliding glass door. There was a large-sized tub for those who like a bath. Queen-sized bed. One upholstered chair, one desk chair, a small round table, and a wooden bench. Ample closet space. A very nice, “white tablecloth” restaurant which I assume is high end (expensive) for the area. We were happy to have housekeeping services our second day, not something every hotel offers. Lovely garden yard. Free parking behind the hotel. Two local coffee shop across the street. The hotel is a very good value. Would definitely stay here again.

No fridge in the room but the hotel were very accommodating with ice and water

Large room, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and crisp sheets. Large bath and shower. Staff were very helpful and though their restaurant was closed that day for a private function and the subsequent day they recommended and booked a table for us at Ribomar restaurant which was excellent. Also tried A fonte do Vino restaurant and had perfect seafood especially the spider crab pate. We stayed on an extra night at the hotel to try their famous salipon de marisco - it was absolutely superb as was the sea bass

We had difficulty finding it as there was some confusion with the address given. The hotel obviously hadn’t notified Booking.com of this change in the street address.

The rooms were extremely spacious with a wonderful large bathroom and it was all immaculately clean. It was a large hotel so less of a personal touch but the staff were friendly and helpful. Although not bang in the centre of Cambados, it was only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute cycle ride so quite convenient.

A bit of traffic noise, the hotel is located on a busy road.

An old stately hotel which has converted well to modern times. Swimming pool and sun loungers in the garden. Nice room with lots of light. Breakfast buffet style is tasty (but severly supervised). We could park our bicycle in the pantry in the cellar. Town centre on walking distance.

A bit noisy at night due to the air conditioning compressors outside the hotel.

Dinner in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast was very complete. I loved the homemade cakes. There was a small table in the room where you could work. WIFI was available.

The location of the hotel wasn't great. The surrounding area was very run down with derelict houses etc.

Outside and the garden was beautiful. The breakfast was very nice. With freshly made coffee. The staff were lovely.

Service at the restaurant not so great, all waiters in a hurry, we wanted glasses of wine, they brought a bottle (and a bit more expensive than we would have chosen), hotel is next to the road and too far to walk into town

Beautiful grounds, good facilities, would be good for a wedding. Ample parking and wifi worked.

we got at 3:15pm and the was not ready at all. i asked it to be made because the staff was there in situ and their attitude and answer terrible. Went to complaint to the front and the lady said that she asumed that the room was ready because nobody answered her calls. lack of customer service also when we asked where we can eat in town she said I don’t know but you can here, felt pressured into using their restaurant. Property very nice Staff minus zero.
