Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThere is nothing.
The apartment was massive, very clean and had everything you need for a short stay. The staff great. Dont be shy and ask them for advice. Christian, one of the staff, had the perfect recommendations for us. There is nothing they can improve. Everything was superb.

IrelandThe large bed was very comfortable but took up so much space that it was difficult to get to the wardrobe and see inside the wardrobe. There were no drawers for clothes so everything was on 1 large shelf in the wardrobe. The living room/ kitchen was very spacious so there was room for a set of drawers there. It is a small complaint in an otherwise excellent apartment
The location was excellent. It was very clean with staff coming in every second day to change towels and remove rubbish and every 4th day to change bed linen. It was very safe with a simple and secure access and exit system. There were beautiful large windows looking out on to a pedestrian street. I would stay there again if I was returning to Cadiz

IrelandMore coffee pods in the room would be nice .
It’s a beautiful old building with bags of character but also refined and new . Location is perfect with secure car parks close by (€10 per night ) . Christian met me and guided me to the car park with directions . He was very patient as I was exhausted from the drive down from Salamanca . This is where we will stay on the way home in two months - and next year on the trip back down again . Perfect place - wonderful cafe next door . Even a laundry across the plaza . 🤩

CanadaThe Casa Palacio apartments are extremely well located right in the heart of Cadiz on a pedestrian street close to restaurants and attractions yet are quiet thanks to well insulated windows and bedrooms facing the back. on a quiet backyard. There is plenty of room for short and longer stays with a full kitchen and all necessary amenities.

United KingdomThere was no one at the desk when we arrived. And a couple was there before us waiting. When the receptionist finally arrived, we had to wait more as he had to check in the other couple first. That took a lot longer than normal.
The apartment was bright, spacious and comfortable, with a lovely terrace. Location is perfect!

RomaniaI liked everything. The terrace furniture was a little dusty but I know how it is leaving close tot the sea.
The beautiful penthouse apartment is situated on a very central street with shops, cafeteria,Carrefour express very close by. Lovely old building, the apartment is big with a beautiful terrace,3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms(we were only 3 but we wanted 2 baths)with a large kitchen fully equipped. The host Christian was very kind,I even received a nice bottle of cava for my birthday. We also found bottles of water in the fridge and coffee for breakfast. Cádiz is a special city,we had a nice dinner at El Faro restaurant,we visited the Cathedral, Mercado full of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. You can try the fresh food.

Lovely cosy apartment in an excellent location. We had the penthouse apartment and the outside terrace was lovely although sadly with only a 2 night stay we didn't really get to take full advantage of this, we all wished we'd stayed longer.

IrelandThere was a dolce gusto coffee machine in the kitchen but no kettle for us tea drinkers. I boiled water in the microwave instead. The bathroom is not ensuite which is ok it just meant having to find your way in the dark from the bedroom to the bathroom, we could have left a light on instead. A lamp in the living room instead of just having overhead lights would have been good.
We travelled with our dog in February. There is a central heater or cooler in the living area and in the bedroom. We needed assistance how to operate it and the owners explained no problem. Its a large living space, high ceilings in an old renovated building. The whole building was very clean. The apartment is very centrally located with a supermarket almost next door. A small dog bed and two small dog bowls were supplied for our dog. The shower was large and modern, the bathroom had a bidet and a large sink. There was a 32'' smart TV where we plugged in our FireStick. Strong wifi signal in the apartment. The bedroom is set back in the apartment away from the street noise. Large refrigerator and a powerful microwave with a grill in the kitchen. Parking was less than €20 for 24 hours and just a few minutes away, a very short walk. The whole area is flat for walking in Cadiz.

United StatesCentral location. Underground parking one minute walk. Spacious apartment. Appreciated the central air, smart tv, coffee maker and washing machine. The two full baths were great. Elevator a bonus. Children shouldn’t be in penthouse flat due to ledges. Bedrooms were quiet with lots of darkening shades.

United KingdomWe found nothing that we didn't like.
We had a slight issue gaining access to the property as our phone code didn't seem to work, but I think that was as the receptionist had just popped out to the shop next door for 5 minutes and once they returned all was resolved very quickly. The 3 bed apartment itself we had was lovely. Appointed to the highest standards in every way, the beds, sofa, outside areas etc all absolutely lovely and we were just sorry we coulnd't stay longer. Location was bang in the centre of Cazid town so very easy to get around and we would happily and highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of booking it.

New ZealandCouldn't really have the curtains open in the unit we were in (2c) as one window faces the hallway and the other is overlooked by neighbouring units.
Room was a very good size. Had everything we wanted and the bed was comfy. Perfect location in the middle of town and only 40 metres from the carpark for our rental car. Friendly staff. So handy for walking around the old Town and the beach.
