Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing about Casa del Infanzon or Sos del rey Catolico disappointed us. Old world charm, peace and tranquility during our 2 nights stay.
Key code entry system worked well. Excellent location in the heart of Sos. Great breakfast served up by a lovely host.

United KingdomReally nothing bad to say at all.
The hotel was lovely. I liked the key code system. The location was great, but only if one has sturdy legs. Sos is on a hill and the streets are winding. We could park about 500 metres away, but then schlepped up the hill.

United KingdomLovely place in centre of the village. Very atmospheric. The owners were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a lovely breakfast. We enjoyed being able to sit up on the terrace with fantastic views and there is also a very comfortable lounge downstairs. Would definitely come back.

United StatesLoved it all!
Great space in the middle of the historic town, not on the edges like some accommodations. Extremely comfortable shared sitting area downstairs plus an honor bar! Room was comfortable and extremely quiet. Breakfast included assorted meats, toast, eggs, fresh juice, coffee, and cake!!!

United KingdomRoom was a little small to be called a suite but still very nice.
We stayed for one night on the busy puente weekend and our room was the only one available in Sos as a change of plans meant we only booked the day before. We have stayed at the Parador on previous occasions but we were delighted with this property which is in the centre of the town but tucked down a tiny side street. Very quiet and the hotel lounge and honesty bar meant we could enjoy a cold beer in comfort. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Nice white bedding and towels, always a plus. Highly recommended and would definitely repeat if visiting beautiful Sos again.

United StatesDON'T try to drive to hotel! pay attention to the map they send and park in the parking area. It will be a hike through the town to the hotel but the town is sooooooo cute. AC was not very strong so August heat was still a bit too much but the AC made it bearable.
Such a cute, wonderful hotel! Such a cute old town! Staff was very good with communication - gave electronic codes for entering hotel and entering rooms. Room with view was a HUGE room on top floor - awesome! We also had a twin room for our kids. Breakfast cost extra but was really good.

SpainRoom was OK, but it is described as a suite (and prized as one) and is just a normal sized room. It is little too expensive. The location at the top of the town makes access a little challenging.
Nice hotel, really clean and conformable, located in the top of the town. Great staff, they where helpful and nice at every moment. We did not had breakfast because we had one arranged, but the cakes look wonderful!

United StatesThe room we were given was an attic and we had to duck to not hit our head in 50% of the space. It also had very limited light. It was not one of the rooms pictured on Booking.com's pictures of the room we booked. We made the best of it but were disappointed in the room, as it was not what we expected/were hoping for or comfortable for us.
The hotel has a fantastic location, the breakfast was wonderful (and much better than anything you will get elsewhere in town for the price), and Maria Jose is very helpful and attentive.
