Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Puerto RicoThe whole building needs a coat of paint. The floors are linoleum pads. I understand the lights subject to the card key but NOT the water. We actually woke up w/o water and after a long time of them trying, they finally gave us another room.
The staff works very hard to keep you happy. The location is very good. The balcony is a pleasant surprise.

United KingdomClearly an old hotel, now only on one floor, which has tried to be modernised. Tiny breakfast room with very little choice. No parking on-site - it is a few streets away. Seems to have one staff member doing everything
Good location and we were lucky to have a nice balcony. Very clean if dated decorations.

GreeceThe breakfast could be a bit better: use less pre-packaged, mass produced stuff (which you can find in the supermarket next door) and include more local products and a greater variety
Lovely hotel with reasonable prices for such a touristic area. We were travelling as a family and the room was spacious and clean although we didn't have much of a view. It was quiet though and had an amazing power shower which our kid couldn't get enough of! The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

4th floor room with a balcony and good views over the City. Great location. Lots of bars quite closer and a supermarket right next door.

CanadaIt's on the 4th floor of a grand old building that now seems to house lawyers' offices, so you sometimes have to use your keycard to gain entry. If you want coffee during non-breakfast hours, you need a euro coin to insert in the machine.
Our room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately no mini-fridge. The window overlooked a quiet side street. Breakfast was mediocre but you could eat on a balcony (along with the smokers.) It's on the 4th floor of a grand old building that now seems to house lawyers' offices, so you sometimes have to use your keycard to gain entry. If you want coffee during non-breakfast hours, you need a euro coin to insert in the machine. Very close to a pedestrian lane with several good restaurants.

CanadaHotel is located in an old building and the room has a smell of it. Need to turn on the A/C to get air circulated.
In the center of Granada, 20 mins walk to Alhambra. 5mins to cathedral. it has a nice terrace outside room for breakfast. In a sunny day, you can have the beautiful city view and see snow covered mountains. The room is nice and clean. Bathroom is big. Shower is hot and strong. Kristin is very very nice and helpful. Breakfast is recommended. I had very tasty cappuccino even from machine. Orange and plum were juicy and sweet.

SerbiaThe room was very small, but for one overnight stay we didn't object to it. However, for a longer stay, this can be a little bit problematic. Also, just bear in mind that parking can be reserved, but it is in a private garage 250 meters from hotel. For us that was OK, but maybe someone would find this not suitable.
Very polite and helpful staff. The room was cozy, nicely equipped, and clean. Location of hotel is nice, you can walk to city center, you can see nice things while walking there (15 minutes approximately). Very interesting building. This hotel offers very good value for money. Definitely recommended!

United States of AmericaWe came by car but we gave up trying to find it and hired a taxi driver to lead us there. Quite an ordeal so I recommend that you give up quickly and find a nice taxi driver to help you.
Location was near Alhambra, which was our main goal. The price was very reasonable. They provided parking at a 17.5 euros per day. Morning coffee was 1 euro, and some breakfast is available.

NetherlandsCoffee, drinks and croissants were not fresh. All from machine or pre-fab. A bit of a shame when you are in such a nice hotel.
Kind, personal service at the desk. Clean and nice hotel. Location is great: a kind of quiet corner in the center of the beautiful city of Granada. The view from the little balcony next to the breakfastroom (and from some rooms, but not all) is very nice. A good start of our first trip to this area and Granada.

HungaryGranada was cold, but only a thin blanket was on the bed. Using only a sheet instead of a cover is very strange. There is only one chair and one place for the luggage in a double room. The kettle is missing. There are no hangers for coats.
The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel parking is super. The breakfast is OK. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.
