On Monday be Sure to make some food shopping, because in Mondoñedo in Mondays Restaurant are all closed. At least at this Hotel you can prepare Something, or Heat Up.

We biked from Santiago de compostela after the Camino so it was a bit of a bike ride

We prefer a firmer mattress, and this mattress was fairly soft. The main pillow was also a long one that went across the entire bed, which wasn't to our taste. There were also large square pillows that were more decorative.

Location is fantastic, right near the cathedral. Our room was on the top floor and was spacious and very attractive, charmingly decorated. We enjoyed staying in the middle of a medieval city.

Our hostess was wonderful and very warm and welcoming. She gave us a welcoming coffee and insisted on helping us carrying all our cycling gear up to our room on the third floor with great humour and had a safe space for our bicycles. The bed was super comfortable and the room and bathroom spotlessly clean. What more can I say? A fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect place with all you might need during your travel. Room was very cosy, cleen with very comfortable bad. Place is situated near the Cathedra.

We were on the fourth floor which they call the third in Spain since they all start with 0 here. But it was nice.

It is an undiscovered gem. The property has been updated but kept the old charm.

We loved everything!

We stayed here one night but wished we have stayed 10! The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our room was ample, cozy, clean and with great views to the cathedral! Highly recommended!

Be prepared that although the road at the front of the hotel is narrow it seems to be a main thoroughfare for cars and you will hear road traffic as well as late night revellers, and most concerning the bells from the Cathedral and a nearby church ring regularly throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper please beware and bring earplugs. That is the main reason I have given the score given. As a walker you need a good night's sleep.

As you walk in off the Camino into the Cathedral Square you are met by the wonderful sight of the Cathedral and a square full of restaurants and bars. A welcome sight after a good walk although when we arrived only one or two places were open to serve drinks and basic snacks/food. The hotel was only just a minute's walk off the square so very convenient. The rooms we were given were spacious, comfortable, clean and both had balconies. From mine at the front of the hotel you could see the square and Cathedral. There is a kitchenette downstairs forming part of the reception area where you can prepare some basic food and drinks and there are some tables.

Some imperfections that could be fixed like the basin leaking water or the shower drainage being a bit clogged. A bit of a struggle to close the old windows. Nothing major to report, to be honest.

Basic, but good value for money. Nice wooden floor and big wardrobe. The house must be antique, it has a lot of charm. Nice little kitchen to warm up with a tea.

The container for the hand-washing soap was empty. Also, there were no hangers to hang the towels for taking a shower. Our room was supposed to have a balcony, which it did not.

There is air conditioning, but it doesn't work, and there is no laundry facility, which doesn't quite match the description. The attic room was stuffy.

Good location, very close to the town center, more convenient. The host was very friendly and the check in was smooth. The room is beautifully decorated.

no reception service at all and because of this it cost me an extra 20 euros to get my suitcase sent to my next destination. poor communication
