Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsIts out of the way, which is great for romantic getaways, or if you need some peace and quiet, but without a car, you cant really get beyond the estate. We had bad weather, so we really needed a car, and tenerife is known for traffic and little parking options.
The road leading to the accommodation isnt great, closed off by walls and banana plantations, but when you arrive its truly stunning, white stones, right on the ocean, no noise no traffic just waves and wind. The restaurant was good, personnel very kind, we didnt try the breakfast because it was quite expensive. We also didnt ry the yoga or pilates, but it did look fun.

RomaniaI had no problem with that but the location is a bit remote- can’t really go out without car. Also if they find a solution for internet i guess they can get digital nomads in extra season. But for a few days just disconnect. It is fine :)
It is really magical! Spent there one week in august and i felt asleep and waked up with the sound of the ocean, in the middle of the nature. A big plus for our vacation.

GermanyNothing to complain about. The windy weather was out of everyone's control :-)
We booked the private suite with terrace and it has been an amazing luxury stay like having a hotel on your own. The design was impressive and well thought of. Coffeemaker and a small fridge is there. We booked a welcome Cava and pralines option that we enjoyed on our arrival. This place is remote and limited in space - hence a perfect quiet get away where you can enjoy nature, listening to the waves, visiting the rocky litte beach. While the hotel still is in progress of setting up their restaurant and improving all the facilities their construction work did not bother at all and being on the lower private suite area was like you booked into your private little VIP hotel. The have a safe for valuables. The bathtub was fun (bath salt was provided!) and we enjoyed the jacuzzi multiple times. We had quite a windy weekend but we had enough spots and areas where we could sit and enjoy ourselves. The hotel team was always available via Whatsapp and went out of their way to assist on any way they could! The break fast options were great and delicious, too. Since we live on this island and this is literally just one hour drive away from our home this was the best idea we had in years to explore this area of the island that is so remote that is never overrun by tourists masses. We did drive a 15 Minute drive to the restaurant Finca el Cardon which added another amazing highlight to this truly impressive weekend to celebrate out 32 years anniversary!

BelgiumWhen we were there a film crew was active on site filming for a music video clip. We were unable to use the sitting area around the bar. Second day the film crew used the pool area, making us not able to enjoy the pool. We were then working at the bar, which we also had to leave as they wanted to clean the bar. Leaving us only able to leave the hotel or stay in our room. All of this without any warning or communication towards us. We got a €50 voucher at the restaurant compensation to make up after complaining. When we were eating they started to paint the floor of the restaurant... Next day, when we woke up, they were working again at the bar and cutting wood and stuff. Next time, just close your hotel if you're planning to do this kind of stuff. Lastly, when looking into the kitchen it looked very dirty. Also dirty glasses in the bar, dirty bar. The professionalism and cleanliness did not live up to what you would expect from such a hotel with such a price per night. Would not recommend.
Nice pool, nice view, well designed.

NetherlandsHotel is far away from all main attractions. It is in the middle of no where and it stays on the windy & colder part of the island. We couldn’t manage to enjoy pool because of bad weather. I haven’t seen anyone in the pool. The bathroom and stairs to the rooms were smelly. There are not many things to do in the hotel, there is a small restaurant, that’s it.
Hotel has an amazing view, it was such a good experience to wake up with the sounds of the ocean. In every corner, you can find a spot for Instagram. We like the breakfast in general

ArgentinaKitchen was very dirty on the floor and the door always open. Towels and linens were of poor quality. Staff friendly but not very efficient (restaurant staff better). We were charged 15 euros per dish for breakfast!
Nice location although far from the main attractions of the island. Nice room with terrace although not facing directly the sea. Generally nice views of the ocean.

GermanyIt was still a construction site all around and the road down to the hotel appears a bit post-apocalyptic among decrepit banana plantations. Service was absent and many details still (!) missing, eg the cushions for the sunbed.
It was a nice place in terms of rooms, pool and restaurant.

SwitzerlandThey want to be a small luxury/boutique hotel, but they are not. It honestly was very disappointing. First of all: the hotel ist NOT DONE BUILDING. The rooms and the pool exist, thats it. We did not know, it was not communicated. The whole area is covered in building materials and neither a reception nor a restaurant are there, yet. The latter one is currently under construction ergo there were builders 30 meters next to our room and the pools drilling, chainsawing and hammering all day long. The only option for us was to leave the whole day because relaxation, the key selling point according to the website, was not possible! The room itself was good, but really hot! The ventilator did not do much, so the only option is to sleep with the sliding door wide open, which honestly is quite scary in the middle of abandoned greenhouses, where the hotel is located, and with multiple random people wondering through on the way to the ocean. The bathroom is really pretty but be aware that you cannot flush the toilet paper! You will have to hose yourself or throw the toilet paper in a bin (which, depending on your habits of daily relive could become smelly, especially when its hot). Also be aware that the safe won't fit more than two wallets and maybe a small camera. Ipads or big cameras do not fit. The pool is very pretty and the only real plus for a stay. But the service really is not good or thought through well. They started cleaning the pool around 8 and were not done until 10 to 10:30 every day, which is the prime time of pool usage for some people. In general, the cleaner was the only person of staff we saw after checkin. Nonetheless, the property could need some more of them as the glass on the brakfast area and the windows was already blind by the sea water.
The only plus for this hotel was the view on the ocean and a nice pool.

GermanySmell - the rooms are very smelly, not sure if it came from the bathrooms (cat pee smell, really strong) or from the recently new furniture. The smell was so strong it caused us headaches. Sink and shower - both badly designed, too small which makes the bathroom have spillages of water everywhere Reception - there’s no reception, so you can’t arrive early and leave your luggage there. Also, the lady that did our check in did not speak Spanish at all and her English was rather poor. She told us we could drink “everything” however, we did not find any bar, kitchen or area where to “grab” a drink from. Extremely isolated - bring your own water as you can’t drink water from the tab and they don’t offer you any. Same for dinner, bring your own food or be prepared to drive for 30min to get to a restaurant or bar. No pool - the pool and restaurant are under construction, the parking lot is also under construction so there’s a lot of rubble everywhere. The beach is not close by. The jacuzzi they have was quite dirty when we were there.
The views and the design is great
